About this sitter

I am a 52 year old fiber artist living in Crestone, CO and the proud mother of a son 27 years, daughter 25 years, and a 5 year old Sheepadoodle. I am also married to a lovely man- together for 18 years now. My husband Nate, is an estimator for a commercial cladding company and works remotely. We sometimes work as couple if the home has good internent service. He is an Army vet and is very mechanically inclined. Currently, I am an on-call sub for the Northern Saguache Library District, which I thoroughly enjoy. I pet sit and housesit in our little town. I hope to provide clients with trustworthy dependable service. I go above and beyond to keep your house tidy and treat your animals like my very own. A majority of the time, it will only be me house sitting.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting gives me the opportunity to experience new places and cultures. Pet sitting gives me the opportunity to indulge in my love for animals.
I will be posting a background check as soon as I figure out how to do that on this sight. I had one for Care.com when I was a nanny. Of course, I also had one and was fingerprinted for teaching public school in Texas.

Their experience

Currently I have almost 1 year of experience in house and pet sitting. I consider the past 4 years of being a nanny as valuable experience as well. I worked for a doctor, a Neuropsychologist, where I was entrusted with the care of her 2 little boys as well as their home in San Antonio, Tx. (I still keep in touch with them). Also, as a beloved certified Texas public school Art teacher, I taught and ran my classroom for 13 years, first in San Antonio, Tx then in Boerne, Tx.

What can they bring to the assignment

As a wife, mother, former nanny and teacher, I am reliable, professional, and responsible. I am able to perform various duties such as pet care, plant care, light housekeeping maintaining cleanliness, I pride myself on being organized and having good communication skills. I am able to handle daily tasks with ease and attention to detail. My husband is very responsible and reliable as well, mechanically inclined, very meticulous in whatever task is at hand.
