Experienced in looking after dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks

About this sitter

I am a mature lady (used to ride horses daily and used to looking after them). I have also owned dogs, cats, chickens and ducks. I am looking for around approximately 2 to 4 weeks (possibly longer) but must finish by 10th February 2026 due to a job in Italy (near Lake Como) which starts on 12th February 2026.
I have previously worked for 6 months in the Alps on the French/Italian borders, and also lived in Portugal for one year.

Why they want to house sit

I have recently been made redundant and before I start a new role, I would be interested in having a new experience in another country, doing something I love.

I am passionate about animals (although because of previous and future work commitments can no longer have any of my own.

Their experience

Yes, I have owned dogs and cats (and smaller pets) and lived above stables on a farm and rode horses every day, although I haven't ridden for quite a few years now. I am very comfortable around horses/donkeys. I have done many dog sits but mostly in England. I did look have a large Presa Canario, for quite a few weeks when I lived in Portugal

I can supply excellent references. I have also done dog walking. I am used to various breeds. I have walked (and owned some) German Shepherds, Malamutes, Akitas, Huskies, Gun dogs, terriers, Cockapoos, Sprockers to name but a few.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am very reliable and responsible, I can bring maturity to the sit. I enjoy walking, being outdoors and also the quieter things in life such as reading, drawing cooking, gardening.

I respect homes/neighbours. I am a non smoker, very clean and tidy and would look after your pets and home as though they were my own.
