Hi
I am Chrissie I live in Derbyshire with my husband and rescue pooch Lolly Dolly.
I am an active retired lady I love cycling, running, hiking. Yoga pickle ball etc . I am creative and love making things a lover of interior design. When in Derbyshire I am a volunteer trainer and walker at Ashbourne Animal Ark. I adore dogs and love working with them to rebuild trust and help them find new homes. I love all animals and enjoy nothing better than walks in the countryside surrounded by wildlife and curious farm animals. I am lucky enough to live in rural Derbyshire so most of my days are spent outdoors. I also however love city sits always intriguing and inspiring. I
Often come home with new ideas for the home or how to live.
I have done a number of house sits with trusted house sitters often for people with elderly animals who would find going into kennels challenging. My house sits have mainly been in the Suffolk area as I have combined it with visiting my daughter and exploring the area. However I am open to house sit in new areas. I
love adventure and retirement is the perfect time to explore.

Why they want to house sit

I love exploring new paces and meeting new people. I find staying in a home gives me a window into an area and different ways of living. I love spending time with animals and sometimes I get a chance to share some of my skills with my pet sits. I get a chance to use my dog massage skills or my enrichment activities so it’s fun for the pet and fun for me too.

Their experience

Yes I have done house sits with trusted house sitters and can provide a reference if needed. I have also managed a number of small youth hostels in the past. I have my own old home so okay with household challenges!

What can they bring to the assignment

I can bring practical skills of caring for a home. I am
naturally tidy.
I am an animal lover having owned dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, rats and Guinea pigs.
I am a sociable person so enjoy traveling to new places and meeting new people on assignments. I often join in with activities in the locations. I have had some great experiences of yoga in barns and even a wild dance session in a small Suffolk Village. Oh and the best vegetarian pie ever from a village hall fete. I have net intriguing people and seen amazing things that as a tourist I would have never seen. Read books I would never have read that have been inspiring watched films I would never known existed.
