About this sitter
Hello! This is Marina, a 47 yo solo traveler woman who decided to spend second part of her life being brave enough to explore the world in amazing and sometimes difficult countries.
Ex chef, I'm now a yoga teacher: I also teach Italian cuisine classes and I give Balinese massages.
I love spending time in nature, and the unique connection animals can create. I enjoy quiet places with good people or just a book and a cup of tea.
I also have many years of experience and great reviews in HomeExchange, and I have been a house/pet sitter in many places all over the world just through word of mouth: obviously I can provide references!
I'm an excellent driver (cars, caravans, motorbikes...) and I have a driving license I used in dozens of countries, from US to Malaysia, from well-organized European cities to the chaotic Asiatic metropolises, just in case.
Why they want to house sit
I grew up with pets, but my lifestyle now doesn't allow me to have mine. Being a sitter gives me the opportunity to enjoy and cuddle cats and dogs, that I miss su much!

A fantastic pet sitter
Marina was a fantastic pet sitter, my dog snoop loved her. She was kind, clean, organised accommodating and super lovely and sweet with our precious boy snoop. Snoop is a very sensitive soul, and i could tell from the first meeting he liked Marina. I can’t thank her enough and i would happily use her again. She even left us a welcome home gift which was super helpful as we have two very young kids and we got home late and the supermarket

From our first contact Marina made me feel confident that my house and my pets would be happy and safe in her care. Very very helpful
Was very lovely to meet Marina. I had a great and trustful feeling from the first moment, but I trust the most in the behavior of my pets in the presence of the person. And they showed only positivity, trust and relaxation. She's a great pet sitter! Marina answered always very quick when I messaged her and was very very helpful with all the things I asked for.

An amazing house sitter
I am incredibly grateful to Marina, she was an amazing house sitter! I couldn’t have asked for a better fit. Our dogs and cats were so happy and clearly well loved and cared for in our absence. Marina kept me regularly updated with thoughtful messages about the pets, which brought me so much comfort and truly put my mind at ease. When I returned, the house was very clean, I only wish I’d had the chance to say goodbye before she left. As a sweet surprise, she even baked me some puff pastry before heading out, such a kind and thoughtful gesture. I wish Marina all the best on her journey ahead. Marina is a truly and deeply passionate animal lover
Marina is a truly and deeply passionate animal lover. She bonded instantly with our three cats, since the two indoor males, Ginger and Cooper, began sleeping with her (just like they do with us) from the very first night. We met her in person before the sit started, since she was already on the island, and we immediately thought she was the right match for us, because of her smart and independent attitude. The cats were clearly well cared during our trip, as we could see in photos and videos, and our house was left shining and maybe cleaner than it was. Last not least, Marina was so kind to leave us a "goodbye pack" with different food to treat us, including some smoked salmon that she herself had prepared for us. We would surely call her back again if needed in the future. Thank you!
