I am a retired teacher and live in Ontario. I was born in Liverpool (scouser).
I would describe myself as a dog and cat lover. I am very active, love the outdoors, reading, and being at home. I have experience pet sitting with over 60, five star reviews. I have opened my home to newcomers who wished to experience Canada. Enjoying the opportunity of exchanging, and learning about each other’s environment. I have also completed home exchanges, and I understand the importance of being able to trust others who come into your home. I feel I am responsible, honest and always take my responsibilities seriously. Whether it would be with students, as in the past or with family pets.

Why they want to house sit

I love to travel and discover different communities. To have the company of much loved family pets, is the icing on the cake. At this stage in my life, it would be unfair to have a pet of my own. Yet, I do not feel life is fulfilled without having an animal close by, and to enjoy their presence. It is always a privilege

Their experience

Prior to retiring, I looked after friends’ cats and a family dog during their summer vacations. I enjoyed this time very much. What can they bring to the assignment

A genuine love for animals. Particularly cats and dogs. It is always a privilege to be allowed to take care of, and enjoy the company of much loved family members. They are always my priority, and I give 100 per cent to the best of my ability when taking care of them and their home.
