I am a retired professor who has had a wonderful time housesitting all sorts of animals all over the world. I have over 60 five-star reviews. Can't wait to meet your sweet pet(s) and give them lots of love and attention while you are away.

I love to explore different culture and ways of life. I have done many international and domestic sits. Adored pets are the icing on the cake--lovable companions and friends to make my travels even more enjoyable.

Lisa was a terrific sitter and I cannot recommend her enough. I knew Walt was in very safe hands and he was gutted to see her go. Lisa also had to deal with a few issues whilst we were away and was very self-sufficient in dealing with these problems, saving us any worry. Can't wait to have Lisa sit again!

Lisa was absolutely wonderful to our baby
Lisa was absolutely wonderful to our baby, Scarlett! Lisa stayed for a month over Christmas and took immaculate care of our house (so clean when we returned with home made leftovers!) and even better she took such kind and gentle care of our furball who was the most calm and happy cat when we returned, I truly believe they became besties over that time. Lisa was also incredibly competent at getting the knack of the house and all things while we were on a cruise and intermittently not available for communication. We cannot recommend Lisa enough and she would be our first choice to sit Scarlett for the rest of time if we are so lucky to have the opportunity next time we travel! Thank you so much Lisa!

Lisa did an amazing job
Lisa did an amazing job taking care of Oliver while we were away for the week! She followed all of his care instructions, kept us updated with great photos, and made sure he was happy and comfortable. When we came home, Oliver was his usual happy self, and the house was tidy. Highly recommend Lisa for anyone needing a caring and reliable dog sitter!

Lisa is truly just an amazing house and pet sitter. Our pup loves her and we get great pictures of her doing all the things she loves, esp the beach. Lisa had to contend with both an approaching hurricane and a very nearby tornado!! She kept both the house and our dog safe and handled it all as if it was not a big deal!! She is dependable, super neat, flexible and very loving towards our pup. I try to get her every time we are gone because when she is here I never have a moments worry as know she can handle anything. She is very responsive in communications and always keeps us updated on our pup and with pictures. She truly is amazing!!

Ruby fell in love with Lisa the moment she arrived. Lisa even arrived with a wonderful gift of Swiss chocolate for us! Lisa was a wonderful companion and included Ruby with everything she did. It was a big relief to know that she was being so well taken care of. We had discussed beforehand that we would be away for a trip and then back for 2 days before leaving for a work event. Lisa was kind and flexible enough to go up to Florence for a couple days while we were home. Thank you again for everything.

This was the third time Lisa has looked after our dog Peggy
This was the third time Lisa has looked after our dog Peggy. She is a first class dog sitter and an all round stellar human being! We had to have a few house inspections while we were gone and Lisa took it all in her stride. The house was very well looked after and Peggy was loved to the max. We never have any hesitation leaving Peggy in Lisas very capable hands. We love hanging out with her both before and after our trips and it always makes for lots of belly laughs. Lisa is a terrific house-sitter! It was clear from the many pictures Lisa sent that she and our dogs bonded easily. We received videos of Gracie and Zuzu handing Lisa their toys and having a grand time playing. She updated us regularly with texts that showed us how well the sit was going. Lisa had a good grasp of the notes in our welcome guide and followed them to a T! She took great care of our home by cleaning, doing the laundry, leaving a well-organized fridge and vacuuming. This is Lisa's second sit with us and both times, she has gone above and beyond. Plus, our dogs adore her! We hope she will come back to sit again!

Lisa is truly everything you want in a person you entrust your precious pet and house to while you are gone. Never worried one second while gone because I knew she could handle whatever came up. She is extremely neat( house super clean on return) and keeps us up to date on our pup with texts and pics. My dog loves her and is always bathed and brushed and happy when we return. Lisa is very flexible with dates and truly is just a sitter extraordinaire !

Match made in heaven
If there were ever a match made in heaven it was between Lisa and my Irish setter, SHAWN. It was love at first sight, and Lisa was an exceptional Sitter. She cared for him to the letter of my instructions, and I could tell from the photos that she frequently sent that he was in very good hands. When I returned home, the house was meticulous, and Shawn was as if I had never left. If you place an ad for a Housesitter and Lisa applies, grab her up instantly without reservations. I only hope that she will have the opportunity to come and stay here again. Thank you Lisa from the bottom of my heart.

This is the second time we have been lucky enough to have Lisa sit for Peggy! Peggy was so happy to see her and covered her in kisses. With the hurricane in FL hitting, she still didn’t let us down and amazingly drove through the night to get to us in time for our departure. We never have a single worry with Lisa looking after Peg and our home. She is a great communicator, great fun, is a natural with dogs and we now call her friend.
