Why they want to house sit

I love taking care of people in the comfort of a home and have always been very nurturing. After my daughter went away to college, I found myself missing the day-to-day routine of caring for her and our home, while also wanting to fulfill my lifelong dream of experiencing living in different countries.

Their experience

Though I haven’t been affiliated with other house sitting platforms, I have lived in my own home or apartment since I was 18 and raised children since I was 25. I have also house sit for friends and others in the past.

* Pet care - experienced with dogs and cats, including feeding schedules, medication administration, walks and providing plenty of attention; a quick learner, willing to work with most domestic/farm animals and birds.

* Property upkeep - knowledge of basic home repairs, lawn mowing, pool cleaning and ability to coordinate with service providers should larger issues arise.

• consistent communication - daily/weekly updates via text, email or photos, (all at the home owner’s desired frequency) so owners can be rest-assured that everything is running smoothly and according to their plan.

• respect for routines - I follow any specific instructions and scheduled times for plant care, handling mail, feeding/walking, and thermostats. Very detail-oriented!

• love, care and attention for your pets as if they were my own :)

• general housekeeping & cleanliness - I keep all areas tidy, manage waste/recycle responsibly and leave your home and property in the same condition as when I arrived.

• security awareness - I treat each property as my own, ensuring doors are locked, alarms are set and promptly reporting any unusual activity.

• flexibility - I am open to short-term stays, weekend assignments or longer periods; adaptable to varying time zones and travel itineraries.

• availability - I am currently open to house sits throughout the world with flexible start dates. My schedule allows for both short-notice opportunities and longer, pre-planned stays.
