About this sitter

My name is Markus and I am 65 years old. I am eager to take on new challenges and experiences as I embark on the next chapter of my life.
I have been living with my partner for many years. She is a few years younger and plans to work until her own retirement. This gives me the opportunity to occasionally break out of my daily routine and, for example, gain new experiences through house-sitting, getting to know other people and countries.

Why they want to house sit

After a long career, primarily in education, I'm on the verge of retirement. However, I don't want to stop working completely, as I've always enjoyed my job. I'm fortunately fit and healthy, and I'd like to generally take more time for myself and enjoy some leisure. This could include gaining experience in housesitting.

Their experience

I have no prior experience in housesitting. However, this shouldn't pose much of a problem, as I've been a homeowner for years and know what it takes to keep a property in good condition.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am extremely reliable, thoughtful, athletic, and enjoy being outdoors. One of my greatest hobbies is our large vegetable garden. I am very familiar with gardening and landscaping.
Furthermore, I grew up on a farm here in Switzerland and have a lot of experience with animals and farming.
