About this sitter
I am a CPA and very trustworthy and responsible. I will take care of your home and pets in a respectful and caring manner. I am a vegan, so if that concerns you, I will not be bringing any animal products into your kitchen!
I enjoy house sits in cooler weather during the summers and also enjoy a winter sit in a snowy town.
Why they want to house sit
I've spent many summers on Long Island and I have done lots of house/petting sitting so this will be a great way to get out of the Texas heat and help someone who needs a reliable mature person to take care of their home, and take a break from my hectic pet rescue schedule in Texas for a few months. I also have spent time in the Asheville, NC area as it is closer than NYC, but cooler weather and a bit shorter of a drive. I have also gotten a local police and an FBI check.

i am extremely experienced in not only pet/house sitting but animal rescue. I also do Trap/neuter/vaccinate/return at home as well as holding cats for placement in barns. I have fostered dogs/puppies and cats/kittens for over 30 years.

I can’t recommend Lisa enough. It was really great having Lisa pet sit for us. She treated our cat Lala with lots of love and care. We really appreciated all the daily picture and video updates. Would definitely be most happy to have Lisa again if she visits Berlin in the future.

We were so lucky to have Lisa housesit
We were so lucky to have Lisa housesit and taking care of our dog Avva for five weeks this summer. Lisa knows how to handle dogs really well. She communicated with us frequently on the status of Avva. Lisa became Avva's best friend very quickly while taking her out for hikes, walks and visiting places. In addition, Lisa kept the house very clean and helped us taking care of house maintenance schedules and watering gardens and plants outside when we had several days of heatwave. We will definitely want her back in the future if our schedules match.

Beasley was calm and relaxed when we returned home, a sure sign that Lisa gave him caring attention while we were away. Lisa left our house cleaner for us on our return, cleaner than it was when we left. Lisa communicates directly, easily, and with regularity. She sent us a photo of Beasley in the morning every day, and if she had a question she got in touch right away. Lisa spoke with us via video before we confirmed her as Beasley's sitter, and she was calm, pleasant, and answered all of our questions thoroughly. She also came over and met Beasley the night before the pet sit started, and we appreciated her attentiveness to the details of feeding and grooming Beasley, and upkeep of our house. She is a Five Star pet sitter, and we were pleased with her.

Lisa was amazing with Heidi
Lisa was amazing with Heidi, our dog. She took her everywhere, from outdoor Shakespeare festivals, to dog fairs, to outdoor breweries. You name a fun, dog friendly activity in Asheville, they went there! We felt so good leaving Heidi with Lisa for 3.5 weeks, knowing she'd be well walked (They also went on many hikes!) well cared for, and even well entertained. Lisa clearly loves pets, and we'd highly recommend her for you pet care needs.

Lisa was terrific
Lisa was terrific! When I came home, my dog Henry was happy and relaxed. She provided consistent, regular updates and definitely spoiled Henry, she walked him all over town, above and beyond what I usually do, and walking is Henry's love language. She adores animals
Lisa had another house/animal sit in town, so popped by before our arrangement to meet Osity cat. I could tell within moments how much she adores animals and Osity's ease with this new person. I was abroad for nearly two weeks and felt confident in Lisa holding down the home front. The house was clean, garden surviving in crazy heat and most importantly, Osity cat content. Lisa communicated all sorts of details about Osity with pictures via texts while I was away. Osity even got in the shower with her, which doesn't happen with everysitter despite my cats love of water. That says something for sure!

Lisa was amazing with our two pups
Lisa was amazing with our two pups including a 5 month old puppy. I did not worry about a thing at home while we were gone for a three week trip out of the country because she was so professional and a great communicator. Lisa is an excellent sitter who went above and beyond with pet care. My HOA was making outdoor repairs to my chimney. The work was scheduled to finish before Lisa arrived, but it ended up taking all week---lots of pounding and noise that made Gracie a nervous, barking wreck. Lisa took Gracie away on hikes and found other places to hang out. This was not the peaceful getaway described in my posting, but Lisa was gracious about it. She bonded with Gracie, sent daily photos and updates, and left my place in great shape. I felt totally confident leaving Gracie in her care and would enthusiastically welcome her back on a future sit (with a guarantee of no work crews!!)

We couldn’t have been more impressed by Lisa
We couldn’t have been more impressed by Lisa! She was very responsible, quick to communicate, took care of our home and loved our pit mix, Bishop. It was clear that she is very experienced, but more than that, she loves dogs! She and Bishop were fast friends and we felt very comfortable leaving the country for two weeks (the longest time we’ve been away from Bishop) knowing that Lisa would be taking care of our home and pet. She went above and beyond by washing the sheets and remaking the bed. We came home to a clean house and a happy pup!

It was a great stay with Lisa!! My pets were well taken care of! Lisa was very communicative as I was away from home. My house was clean when I arrived. Lisa treats your pets as if they are own!! I love that she has previous experience with rescues so she is very aware of their temperament.
