About this sitter

I was as an IT (Information Technology) consultant for 25 years, traveling weekly for assignment in my career.

I am now a semi-retired as a Real Estate investor, only traveling mostly 4, 5 times a year.

In the past I trained my dogs to be “ShareAPet” to bring them to nursing home and hospital for people who love dogs but can not have dogs in the facilities.

I am quiet, non-smokers, non drinker nor using any substance abuse, focus on healthy living lifestyle and love all animals. Currently I own a few homes in Florida. I love the outdoors: walking and hiking with dogs. I also love sailing, inline skating, kayaking, playing volleyball. At home I play tennis every day.

I grew up with dogs, cats, chickens, fish, and calves! I love them all and house sitting allows me to reconnect with the furry friends.

I own my own home so I know how important your home is and I treat it with the utmost respect.

Why they want to house sit

I've done a lot of cruising in the past which I felt like I have enough of it. When I travel in the past, especially on cruise, I did not get a chance to get to stay long and have pets on cruise/air plane. I think it is so therapeutic to have pets in my life, but cruising not only that I had to rush back to the cruise schedule but also missing having a pet during my vacation time.

Now I would like to travel to places where I can slow down, get to know the locals and most of all I will have pet in my vacation.

I like to stay close to the home and spend time with the animals. The hardest part is that I become very attached and its hard to leave :)

Their experience

I have been house sitting through my friends and neighbors. I have a “pet sitting buddy” system at home where I have my friend/neighbor watch my dogs while I am on vacation and in return I watch them when they are on vacation.
I am managing 8 rental houses from 15 minutes to 3 hours away, so I get used to know how to manage and react to unforeseen situations.

What can they bring to the assignment

Perhaps the most important benefit to having me to mind your home and pets is peace of mind while you are away. I will treat your home and your pets as if they are mine.

I also bring along the experience of training pets and having done sitting this many times before and having traveled the globe for the many years I can overcome most obstacles and challenges that may come up from time to time.
