It's second nature for me to love caring for others (whether furry friends or people's homes) and be a part of connections built on mutual support. As a budding online business owner, house-sitting is a perfect exchange to help others and bring them peace of mind while having flexibility in my living situation. As someone who thrives on variety, getting to experience new neighborhoods and make new connections in the area fills up my cup. While I'm waiting to have another dog of my own until I'm settled enough to give them the life they deserve, I'm excited to share my love with other people's pets this way.

Their experience

I grew up in northern NJ surrounded by and adoring pets including a high-energy Labrador Retriever, an anxious 10-lb Maltese who never left my lap, a devious bunny named Chip, and a Husky-Bernese Mountain Dog who's too handsome not to be a Hollywood star by now.

I've pet-sat and house-sat for friends and neighbors countless times, handling everything from vet appointments and medication regimens to plant care and house cleaning. I've cared for animals of all sizes and temperaments: young anxious terriers, conversational cuddly cats, attention-seeking poodle mixes, older rowdy pit mixes, emotionally needy Golden Retrievers, standoffish cats, active German Shepherds, and even a 16-year-old blind and deaf Pekingese who needed extra patience and gentle care.

My occupational therapy background means I'm naturally observant, reliable, and skilled at following detailed instructions for any of your pet or home needs.
