About this sitter
I'm Kelley, and I have been a lifelong lover of animals, dogs, and cats primarily, but I can do fish as well! I am currently based in Southern California, but looking to expand my reach domestically and globally.
I have been caring for homes for over three years and will leave your pets happy and home as if you never left! I have made my lifestyle full-time on back-to-back sits!
I can virtually work from anywhere and look forward to serving you and your pets.
Why they want to house sit
I love animals first and foremost. I have lost all three of my own in the last five years who lived very long lives and while I miss them, their absence gives me the ability to travel and adventure to other parts of the USA and the World which I desire to do. And as a bonus, I get to hang with other pets!
Flash forward, five years later, its my lifestyle and how I live as I have been doing it full time and have done over 300 sits, both on this app, on others, and for friends and family.

Yes, I have nearly five years of experience as a full time house and pet sitter, and also over 12 years experience at the San Diego County Department of Animal Services as a volunteer. And while I don't have any pets of my own currently, I have years of experience of a dog and cat mom as well.

Kelley stayed with our 2 cats and took great care of them. She also had some great tips for our plants that I appreciate! I also love how she was willing to chat beforehand and visit us before we left to make the transition smooth and put me at ease. The only thing I would recommend is sending more updates/pics of the cats in the future, but that might be on us for not communicating that so I will do that in the future. Otherwise I would definitely have Kelley back to stay with our cats. Thank you Kelley for taking good care of our babies!

Kelley did a fine job, but we feel bad because our cat is incredibly shy. In 17 days, Kelley only saw her twice and Miss Rosalyn the cat refused to interact. So Kelley was probably lonely! No complaints about Kelley whatsoever.

Sweet and accommodating
Kelley looked after my cat Lennon for a long weekend. She was very sweet and accommodating to meet me ahead of time. During the sit her text communication was a bit short and I didn’t get photos with every check in as I requested, but I returned and everything was fine and Lennon seemed happy which is most important :)

Kelly is an experienced, capable, trustworthy house sitter who has been a sitter for years. We were unable to meet in person before our departure, but we had several opportunities to share information, including a Zoom call and a video tour of our house. The transition worked flawlessly. By the second night, one of our cats started sleeping on the bed next to Kelly in the guest room. Kelly sent us photos and updates while we were in Mexico. We would be glad to have Kelly as a House sitter again.
