About this sitter
I am a Spanish professional (Architect) who not only loves animals but also to travel and explore new places/ideas/tastes. Myself and my now husband Philip (Ireland) bought a van on 2015 and traveled overland from Madrid to the border of China, roughly following the old Silk Road to Asia from Europe. In this year trip, we house and pet sitted for different people along the way.
We are now three with the addition of our son Liam (1 yera old) and live in Madrid but we are always open for more experiences and hose sits around the globe.
We are passionate about people, places, food and animals. We love to cook and try new foods and are very open minded in this regard. We also love animals and would be happy to have animals to care for, as we love gardening too on any house sitting assignment.
Why they want to house sit
We loved our experiences house sitting before and definitely want to continue either in Europe or whatever the countries our life bring us. It is an amazing way to get to know places better, be more local, take walks, etc. We are also happy to do some jobs and maintenance tasks that might be required. We have sit some businesses before and always great experiences for both us and owners (see testimonials)
Their experience
Both myself and Philip have been fortunate enough to house sit for friends and family in Spain, Ireland and whilst working in Africa during the last 5 years.
We have successfully sit through this website in different occasions before: Patricia's house in Greece and her marvelous dog from December'15 to beginning of February'16, a Cinnamon Plantation with its chickens and dog, plus the harvest supervision in Sri Lanka during 2016's Autumn, an Ecolodge with all its running responsibilities in Costa Rica, etc. You can see their testimonials on that section.
We did sit also in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) for 3 weeks taking care of two dogs (one older and one quite young) house and garden. We have a reference from them uploaded in this website.
What can they bring to the assignment
I am a caring, honest and trustworthy person, respected by my family and peers as such and feel very privileged to be able to partake in this forum. My husband has traveled and worked extensively around the World and is passionate about the sharing of ideas and each others time. Put simply, together we are happy, uncomplicated people, who love life and are looking for mutually beneficial relationships through this site.

Philip and Estrella managed our little b&b, house and garden in Costa Rica. They are pleasant and positive people to be with. Also, they felt really responsible for our business, propery and 2 cats. In fact, our b&b got a A LOT of excellent reviews from our guests while Philip and Estrella were their hosts. They understood what we expected of them and we left our place in their hands without any stress. We were sorry that they were only available for three months. Thanks again, amigos !

Housesitting on a permaculture farm in Sri Lanka
We were very glad to have Philip and Estrella as our housesitters, while we went on holiday to Germany for 6 weeks. They did not only take care of the house very well, but also added many improvements and we could see that they put their heart in everything they did. They were very responsible and managed the money we gave them more than accurately. The supervised the cinnamon harvest send us updates and photos regulary. They left the house very organized and clean. They are great housesitters we highly recommend them !

Lovely and highly interesting couple
We are Lidia and Xavi from Poland and Spain currently living in Kyrgyzstan. We need to travel for a month to Spain but taking the dogs was going to make it much complicated... Finding Estrella and Phil was certainly a lucky strike. Firsts days we were sharing the house and getting acquainted. Very fast they get used to the house and dogs, so we left very peacefully. Moreover regularly they were sending us photos or contacting us telling everything was going on wheels. When we arrived, everything was nicely arranged moreover they left nice food for our arrival. Absolutely recomendable!

A great couple , Estrella and Phillip. They were a real addition to mine and Lida's life. I was really free and relaxed for the months they were taking care of my house and Lida. I returned home to a truly well cared for house and a garden full of newly planted vegetables. I would highly recommend to anybody, anywhere. I am hoping that they will return to this part of the world again.
