Sue and Tony are semi retired Australian couple who love travelling and exploring new places, trying the local food and spots. it is a treat for us if there are pets involved as we love the company of a friendly pet, dogs especially.

About this sitter

Sue is a retired, primarily locum, nurse practitioner who has decided now that 40 years of nursing is plenty but she still has the bug of adventures. Tony is still working in business banking but is almost at the point of 100% retirement. Every year we have taken both long and short trips whether to Singapore, Asia, or Europe, Australia too of course. We are keen now to continue travelling but ideally have longer stays, allowing us to explore the area and meet locals too.
We are former AirBnB hosts who shared our home wiht travellers and students for some 5 years so are familar with building trust with new friends.

Why they want to house sit

There is nothing like forging a bond of trust with complete strangers - whether it is caring for their precious home +/- dear pets. This bond allows others to have a worry free break/holiday themselves and reinforces, I think, that sense of humanity and kindness that are natural instincts in us humans and it is lovely to promote this across our travels.

Their experience

Sue has house sat with cats and dogs previously in Melbourne, Australia as well as locally in our home town.
Tony currently cares for a group of units nearby gardening and general handy man work as required.
As a couple we have not undertaken formal house sitting roles.
We have had many pets ourselves - cats, dogs, birds and fish.

What can they bring to the assignment

Our sense of fun, friendly natures and clean and tidy house manners. We both love animals and are keen to make buddies with pets too.
