About this sitter
I am a retired social worker and investigative journalist, now mostly working as a fabric artist and jewelry maker. I have lived most of my life in the US, but for several years lived in San Miguel de Allende Mexico where I had an art gallery. I am interested in traveling to places I've never been and having new experiences.
Why they want to house sit
When I travel, I like to have the experience of really living somewhere different. I also appreciate the opportunity to feel "at home" when I visit someplace new.
Their experience
I am not an experienced housesitter, but I'm certainly experienced with having homes that I love and taking care of those homes, creating beauty around me with plants, and of course, having a real home includes sharing it with pets.
What can they bring to the assignment
I am a responsible, mature person and I am meticulous in taking care of myself and the place where I live.
