About this sitter

I am a calm and responsible Spanish researcher currently working in the Boston area. I am a strong nature lover and enjoy spending time outdoors, especially hiking, and I have a deep appreciation for landscapes, plants, and animals.

Although I do not currently have pets of my own, I genuinely enjoy caring for animals and spending time with them. I would be very happy to house sit homes with pets, but I am also open to house sits without animals.

I work remotely on my personal laptop, so having a reliable internet connection is important to me. I am respectful, tidy, and attentive, and I value clear communication and detailed instructions so I can make sure everything is cared for exactly as homeowners expect. I am easy-going regarding living conditions and mainly appreciate a comfortable place to stay while ensuring that homes and pets are well looked after.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting allows me to combine two things I value very much: being helpful and discovering new places. Over the coming months I have the flexibility to work remotely, which gives me the opportunity to spend time in different neighbourhoods or towns while remaining fully present and responsible at home.

I am particularly interested in discovering Massachusetts beyond the university setting, and house sitting feels like a meaningful way to do so while providing reliable care for a home and, if applicable, for pets. I enjoy settling into a place, following routines, and ensuring that everything is looked after with attention and respect. Being able to support homeowners while learning about new locations is something I genuinely find rewarding.

Their experience

While I am new to house sitting through this platform, I do have hands-on experience caring for homes and pets in real-life settings. Over the past two years, I have house sat for more than five friends, mostly for weekends and on two occasions for full weeks, often including pet care.

These experiences involved following established routines, providing daily care and attention to animals, and ensuring that homes were kept tidy, secure, and well maintained. They helped me realise how much I value the responsibility and trust involved in caring for someone’s home and pets, and how rewarding I find the time, consistency, and devotion that animals require.

I bring a calm, respectful, and reliable presence to a home. I am naturally quiet, enjoy reading, and value tidiness, so I take care to keep living spaces clean and well organised. Because I work daily on my laptop, I spend much of my time at home, which helps ensure that the house remains secure and well looked after.

I am attentive to routines and instructions, and I take responsibility seriously, whether that involves caring for pets, keeping a home in good condition, or maintaining a peaceful environment. I enjoy cooking simple meals for myself and always treat kitchen facilities and household equipment with care. Overall, I aim to leave homes in the same—or better—condition than I found them.
