About this sitter
My name is Mireille (Pronounced Me Ray of Sunshine ??).
I am an adventurous, trustworthy, furriendly, and responsible lady currently working remotely and living life with our handsome furrylicious Dolce (my sister & I share custody lol and he will NOT accompany me on my sits). He is the love of my life and everything I have always wanted in a partner.
Born and raised in a loving and hospitable family, we were constantly exposed to different cultures, traditions, history, cuisine and heritage either by traveling the world or simply by hosting our loved ones from around the world with open arms, loving hearts, and delicious food.
Besides humans, Dogs and Cats are my best friends. I love them furry much.
I am a non smoker and double vaccinated.
I speak several languages but LOVE is the only language I speak fluently with all species??
Why they want to house sit
Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I love. Every furry friend I meet is treated with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own pawesome dog, Dolce (who will NOT accompany me)
Dogs bring me endless joy, whether we’re going on long walks, having meaningful “talks,” playing treat-or-trick, or simply enjoying quiet companionship. With cats, I cherish the playful moments and gentle cuddles that make them feel safe and loved. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique personality and needs, ensuring they feel happy, comfortable, and cared for.
I know how important it is to stay connected, so I provide regular updates, sweet photos, and videos through WhatsApp, text, or phone calls—giving pet parents peace of mind while they’re away.
Being trusted with an animal’s care is a true privilege, and I find so much happiness in every wag, purr, and tail flick along the way.

Mireille was an excellent sitter for our long trip over the New Year. She was able to deal with our kitty getting sick and vomiting for a few days. She also provided daily updates with pics and videos which we really appreciated. The house was nice and clean when we returned

She's a treasure
We cannot recommend Mireille highly enough! She's hands down the best cat sitter we've ever had – truly the Mary Poppins of cat care! And we've had genuinely wonderful sitters through this site, so that's saying something. What made Mireille so special is that she didn't treat this like a gig. She genuinely wanted to know each of our cats as individuals. Right away, she gave them all nicknames that just fit their personalities perfectly. And the daily videos she sent us? Hilarious! But more than that, they really captured who each cat is – their quirks, their moods, what makes them tick. Even with Milla and Hank, our easygoing couch potatoes that mostly want attention, treats, and love – Mireille spent time talking to them, understanding their moods and needs, and drawing out distinct aspects of their personalities. She treated them like the complex souls they are, not just "the easy cats." As great as that was, what really blew us away was the relationship she built with our Sidra. He's brilliant, charming, and independent, but can also be emotionally complex. He can come across as aloof or disengaged with anyone who isn't us... he's just like that. He needs to feel understood to offer himself up to someone new. But Mireille? I don't even know how to describe it. Sidra didn't just tolerate her – he followed her around like her little shadow! He thoroughly enjoyed his spa sessions, getting brushed by Mireille - which he barely lets us do! In the daily (and hilarious) photos and videos Mireille sent, he was completely relaxed, luxuriating in her presence. You could see it: he felt understood. He felt loved. It was honestly so great to watch their bond develop! It takes such sensitivity and patience to truly connect with a cat like Sidra, and Mireille just... got him. On top of all that, she was self-sufficient and conscientious, a great and direct communicator, kept our house immaculate, and so thoughtfully left us with homemade food for our arrival home(!). Her daily updates gave us total peace of mind. And she's just such a genuinely kind, generous person who radiates care, compassion, and warmth – every interaction was a joy, and we hope to have more down the road. :) If Mireille is available for your sit, grab her immediately. She's a treasure!

We can’t recommend her enough
This was our second time welcoming Mireille for the housesit. Once again, it was an outstanding experience both for us and for our cats. The cats remembered her and happily ran to her as soon as they heard her voice. Mireille’s affection for the pets was apparent in every video and message she sent us. Communication was super easy and enjoyable as Mireille has a fantastic sense of humor and an upbeat, positive personality. The cats were lavished with care, play, cuddles and lots of attention. When we arrived, the house was spotless, the beds were changed and Mireille made us a fantastic and healthy meal. Mireille is a very special human, with a big heart and a generous soul. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found her and would love to have her back anytime she is available for a sit. We can’t recommend her enough.

We had a fantastic experience with Mireille. She clearly loved our cats, sending videos of her playing and cuddling with them. As a person, Mireille is a rare gem who is warm, kind, really funny and genuinely lovely. I'm sure our cats wound have preferred a longer time with Mireille. We returned to an immaculate home, with washed linens and towels and a lovely treat in the refrigerator. We would love to have Mireille back anytime and I can't recommend her highly enough.

Everything we could have hoped for
Mireille was everything we could have hoped for in a pet sitter and MORE. She took incredible care of our cats - such good care that I think they were sad to see her leave! We were treated to daily videos of morning cuddles with Ollie and she even got our shy Pepper to open up. She is the self proclaimed "Queen of Pet Whisperers" and after a few days, we believed it! We had full confidence that our cats were well fed and well loved the entire time we were gone - and had the photos and videos to prove it. Mireille left our apartment sparkling clean and everything was exactly as we left it. We even came back to a home-cooked meal because she knew we would be tired from our travel. We truly could not have asked for anything more and would love to have her come sit for us again.

Amazing Petsitter
Mireille was an amazing Petsitter for our golden doodle Dante. He got treated to his own fun vacation while we were away, with Mireille taking him on long walks and giving him a lot of play time. Mireille was also full of very nice attentions, bringing Dante some great new toys and a cute sweater for cold days, and leaving us deliciously home cooked meals for when we came home. We chatted almost every day and received fun updates from Dante which brightened our days while we were traveling on the other side of the world. The apartment was left spotless. I could not recommend Mireille enough should you need someone to entrust with the care of your fur baby while away :) Thanks again for everything, we’ll definitely be in touch when planning our next trips!

This is the second time Mireille sits for Cindy and yet again has done an incredible job. She is highly trustworthy and reliable. She is also a funny and friendly person. She frequently sends me the funniest photos of my cat that make my day! She left the house clean spotless with some treats after a long flight. Highly recommend without a doubt!!

A joy to know
Mireille was a joy to know and work with. She is one of the liveliest and sunniest people I have gotten to meet. She took the best care of my cat Cindy. She sent me animated pictures and videos daily. She informed me when Cindy was not eating well and provided me with solutions and suggestions. I came to a tidy house with the sweetest sticky notes, gifts for Cindy and I, and homemade food! I would highly recommend Mireille to anyone in search of a sitter. Cindy and I are hoping to see her again whenever she comes back to NY!

Absolutely marvelous
Mireille is an absolutely marvelous sitter! She is so sweet and genuine, and I am very fortunate to have picked her. She did everything to make sure Enca's daily routine was on track, bringing her toys and treats, playing and brushing her everyday, all while keeping the house spotless! We were in constant communication before and during the sit to ensure she arrived seamlessly. I also loved the much-appreciated, and beautiful daily photos of Enca. Oh, and she is also an amazing cook!! Everything was so perfect, I cannot think of anything more that could have been done to make the sit any better. Mireille truly loves animals and has the kindest, most loving soul; she inspires me. If you are fortunate enough to have this amazing lady apply for your sit, pick her up quick; you will not be disappointed. I hope to have her sit for Enca again soon. I know I will have no worries while I am away!
