About this sitter

First and foremost, I am a follower of Jesus who loves people and animals. I'm employed with a global church planting organization that I've served with for 17 years. I live in the U.S. and travel 4-5 times a year, but when I'm not traveling, I work from home and have a flexible schedule that has allowed me to house and pet sit for several years. I know ahead of time when I will be traveling and would not accept a housesitting assignment if it conflicted with my schedule.

Why they want to house sit

I have a servants heart and love to help others. I started housesitting and pet sitting in the Dallas, TX area several years ago for friends with large homes (4,000 sq ft+) who knew and trusted me to love their home and pets, knowing I would take care of both as if they were mine.

Their experience

I have extensive experience in housesitting, as well as petsitting for both dogs and cats. Years ago I attended a hands-on, 2-day dog training obedience workshop and I've trained several dogs, including my Pointer, my Retriever and more than one Lab.

I've also trained several cats, including my own Scottish Fold (Punkin), and a Tonkinese (Spunky) among others. Cats are smart and easy to train, sometimes easier than dogs. In 2021, I trained a companion cat I got for my mom (Sweetie) to use the toilet, so my mom would not have to deal with a litter box when I was traveling.

I've taken care of dogs from Westies to Retrievers, including deaf dogs, and blind dogs. I have no pet now as I travel too much to have any of my own.

What can they bring to the assignment

I offer a sense of confidence to my potential clients through my record of trustworthiness, maturity, and experience. This allows them to feel comfortable knowing their home, possessions and pets will be well taken care of, that their home is not left sitting vacant, and their pets are at home and not in a boarding facility.

I have excellent references I can provide when and if I might serve you and your home. I also have had multiple criminal background checks for serving in ministry and also when I served with FRONTERA-GOD LOVES YOU' FRANKLIN GRAHAM CRUSADE in McAllen, TX. I am open to another background check, if requested, when it's apparent I might be caring for your home and pets.
