About this sitter

My spouse and I live in Asheville, North Carolina, and love traveling as we are able to. I am a retired Veterinary Nurse and used to house and pet sit part-time. I still have one client for whom I house sit locally. I work full-time remotely for a software company, and my spouse works full-time for a distributor. We care for others' homes and companion animals as we wish others to treat our home and animal family. We have a 4 year old spicy Chihuahua that can travel with us in the US but we do not have to bring him to our housesitting committments. We are seeking opportunities to travel abroad to see the beautiful parts of the world. We are also avid mountain bikers and really love any kind of biking, hiking, and wildlife photography. We volunteer for local trail work non-profit organizations and hold wilderness first responders certifications as well. We are limited to 16 days for a house/pet sit opportunity due to some work restraints, as I can only work remotely in the US and my spouse has limitations with his work.

Yes, I first began house and pet sitting in 1997 as a part-time job until 2015. I still house sit time to time for a client who lives close to my spouse and me.
