I am an active, adventurous and easy going individual who loves unique travel experiences. I love arts and culture. I enjoy hiking, bicycling, pickleball and being outdoors.
Why they want to house sit
I like to immerse myself in the local culture when I travel, experience the community, and I really just enjoy meeting people. I also really appreciate and respect ‘homelife’ which is something I have taken pride in myself as being a homeowner for over 40 years, raising my family including multiple pets. I guess I really just like the feeling of ‘home’ when I travel.

I have been a homeowner for over 40 years and I really take pride in creating a peaceful and well-kept home. I also own rental property which I again always strive to provide my renters with an optimal living space. I’ve always had pets throughout my life, primarily dogs and cats which I’ve enjoyed immensely and I am quite familiar with their needs. I have house and pet sat for friends as well.

I am a very conscientious and respectful person who would love to take care of your pet and your home. I would treat your home and pet as if it were my own. I would be very communicative with you regarding expectations and requests.

Dependable and reliable house and dog sitter
Carolyn has a very calm and peaceful presence, which was very important because our dog is timid of new people. She took to Carolyn right away. She was able to gain the trust of our dog enough to even have her off leash (with our permission) which no other sitter has been able to do. Carolyn was excellent and promptly with her communication. She was dependable and reliable on our agreement. She was very flexible and adaptable to our needs and schedule. When we returned home, the house was thoroughly cleaned, and she did several things that were above and beyond that we did not ask her to do like clean the dog poop and empty trash. We would absolutely have Carolyn back as a sitter anytime. We highly recommend her. She is a mature, experienced, thoughtful, and a dependable sitter.

Good communication, lovely House sitter
Carolyn did a great job taking care of my dog and my house. She was very communicative before the house sit about arranging everything , showed up on time, and left the house in great condition. I would definitely have her house sit again.
