About this sitter
Peter and Ali will take good care of your house, cherish your pets and look after the grounds. We are a newly retired couple, Peter as a landscape gardener and Ali with a long career in local government. Therefore we bring a mix of practical and organisational skills. We are keen to house sit anywhere as we would love to add to our experiences of other countries and cultures. Any length of stay will be considered.
Why they want to house sit
We are keen travellers who like to remain active and enjoy integrating with other cultures. Our time is finally our own! The kids have flown the nest and we are free to make the most of our retirement.

We are homeowners ourselves, so completely understand the pride people take in their properties and promise to respect your space.
What can they bring to the assignment
Peter speaks fluent Spanish and has a good understanding of French and German. We have had animals throughout our lives and you can feel assured that we will take great care of yours. We love to walk so your fur babies will get plenty of exercise! We are both dab hands at DIY so would be willing to undertake any required maintenance.

Lovely couple, happy cats!
Ali and Peter arrived a day early, at our suggestion, as this was their first housesit. They joined us for dinner and we were able to take them through most of what they needed to know about our cats, the house and the local area. They’re a lovely couple and we found lots to chat about, while they introduced themselves to our boys. It’s clear that they are both cat lovers! We had no worries during our time away and were updated on how the boys were doing. We came home to three very contented cats! Ali and Peter were totally respectful of our house and everything was as we left it. We would thoroughly recommend them as pet and house sitters and hope that they go on to have lots of interesting sits!
