About this sitter
We are a married couple (66 and 63), who loves traveling. Now that we both retired from work, we have got enough time to visit other places and get to know foreign countries and culture.
Why they want to house sit
As we live in a house in the countryside of northern Germany we love staying in rural as well as urban places. We are always looking for new experiences and like to explore regions we do not know yet.
Their experience
We spent a lot of time renting houses and flats all over the world while traveling. As we own a house with a garden ourselves, we know what is important to look at and to care about.
What can they bring to the assignment
As we are traveling for several months every year, at home we do not live with pets anymore, but we are always happy to look after pets of friends and family. House sitting very often offers the opportunity to live with pets at least for some time. This is one of the reasons why we are looking forward to every house sit with pets.

Susanne and Udo are exceptional house sitters!
Susanne and Udo easily agreed to come at a convenient time and calmly took over the care of our animals and household. They are an easy-going and friendly couple, who obviously care very much about animals, and made a point of sending me daily pictures and updates, showing the cats curled up on their laps, happy and content. Our dog was ecstatic about the attention lavished on him with playtimes and walks. Surprisingly, their helpfulness did not just end there: Not only did they offer to take us to the airport, but Susanne and Udo went out of their way to leave the house, outdoor terraces and garden in a much better state than we had left them. The whole house was meticulously cleaned, the bedding, towels, etc. washed and tidied away, and even the garden had undergone vigorous weeding. It all made our homecoming a pleasure. It has been wonderful having them housesit for us, and they are welcome to come back anytime – even if just for a short visit. I thank Susanne and Udo for all their hard work and wish them the very best!
