Retired trustworthy and reliable couple who love to travel , we live in France and have our own animals so plenty of expirience we have been sitting for 20 years and have now returned to mind my house and are looking forward to exploring Europe .

About this sitter

We are Philippa and Ashley both 72 years young and active . we like to explore different places normaly whithin Europe .We go fishishing once a year usualy Devon , Hampshire , Somerset or Sussex, We dont mind if its country or town as long as the parking is safe , with cats , chickens or fish or whithout . Having had our own letting business we are very good at looking after houses ,keeping them clean and dealing with problems .

Why they want to house sit

We like being in a home rather than a hotel and getting to know an area by living in it rather than just being a tourist . Visiting other places is about relaxing as well as exploring .

Their experience

We are very experienced having traveled extensively all over the world. Owend and renovated our own home's,created gardens , and run our own letting buisness for 30 years . We are calm in emergencys with houses and animals . I have worked with animals all my life rescuing and training. We do have references on Trusted house sitters but cant download them . see examples below.
1. I have to say that Philippa and Ashley are a warm, friendly couple and were amazing with my kitties. Philippa's veterinary knowledge is vast so my kitties were in very good hands. On my return they were completely relaxed without a care in the world; I don't think they missed me at all!!
My home was well looked after, P&A tinkered in the garden and did a bit of pruning and managed to find their way around and about without too much effort. Hat's off to them both and I have absolutely NO hesitation in recommending them as Sitters.

Philippa and Ashley looked after our home, vegetables, plants and 7 chickens for two weeks. We only met them the evening before we left for our holiday but instantly felt relaxed in their company as we shared a meal and we felt we were leaving our house and chickens in safe hands. We came home to a clean and tidy house, happy healthy chickens and all our plants and vegetables thriving. We know how hard it can be to trust someone else with your home and animal family and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to others. Thank you Philippa and Ashley x

I was very impressed with my two petsitters, Phillipa and Ashley. Just before my husband and i were about to leave for our trip to Ireland, our cat Sebastian came down with an illness. We took him to the vet and then while we were away heard that he had pancreatitis. Phillipa had had a lot of experience with cats and she took control of the situation, collecting his medication and special diet food. I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone.

What can they bring to the assignment
