About this sitter
Hello. We are non-smoking pet-lovers housesitting around the world. The nature of our job allows us to work remotely so we often jump in our car or on a plane and head out to different destinations.
Your house and pets are in safe hands and we treat it as if they were ours. We prefer a nice evening playing board games with a glass of wine, watching a movie, or going out for an evening activity. During the day, we're at work from home and enjoy the company of the pets. Going for walks is an ideal excuse to get us away from the laptop :).
Our other interests are mainly outdoors like discovering the area on bike / foot / car, we really like to hike during all seasons, and to go to local events.
Why they want to house sit
Housesitting gives us the opportunity to live like a local in a totally different place. It's a mutual agreement based on trust and respect. We're a big fan of the platform.

Perfect house sitters
Those two are the perfect house sitters. They are highly reliable and self organized. If there was a question they asked directly. We had some troubles preparing the medication for our car and they handled it perfectly. After their stay they cleaned the house and even prepared our bed, so we didn't have to do anything when we came home. The communication was easy going and we got updates from our cats (cats loved them). Glad we had them in our home so we didn't have to worry while being gone. We would recommend them to anyone else!

Wonderful

Warm-hearted, communicative
Valentina and Geert are kind, reliable, and clearly experienced pet sitters. Communication before and during our trip was smooth and consistent. We received daily updates with photos and videos, which helped us enjoy our time away worry-free, knowing our cats were relaxed, cared for, and comfortable in their company. They were also very accommodating and flexible with scheduling, and we appreciated their willingness to take one of our cats to the vet - twice - during the sit. It was clear they genuinely cared for our pets and made an effort to give them love and attention. They left the house relatively clean, with a thoughtful touch in changing sheets and tidying up the kitchen. That said, the downstairs and litter boxes could have been more thoroughly cleaned, but overall we were happy with the pet sit and felt our animals were in good hands. We’d be happy to recommend Valentina and Geert to other hosts, especially those looking for warm-hearted, communicative sitters who truly care about the animals they’re looking after.

Amazing dogsitters
Valentina and Geert were amazing dogsitters and took great care of Lexi and Frankie 😊. Our dogs looked very happy and relaxed as soon as we arrived back home from our vacation. Not only were they great with the doggos, but they were also very organized with the key exchange with the previous dogsitter and provided us with updates/pictures/videos of our dogs throughout their stay 🙌. The house was also left in a clean condition (it looked like nobody was even staying here for the past 10 days) 🤯. Thank you again for taking care of Lexi & Frankie! I can’t rave about this couple enough
I can’t rave about this couple enough! They took amazing care of Sandy. Sandy had two surgeries prior to me leaving which required daily morning vet visit for wound dressing changes and medications twice a day. They took outstanding care of her. I almost cancelled my trip because I thought the wound changing would be too much and this was my first time using trusted sitters. They eased my anxiety and took extremely good care, even the vet complimented them. They were reliable, self sufficient, organized, and always kept me informed and in the loop especially when Sandy had medication changes or needed blood drawn. They are remarkable and just amazing pet lovers. You can tell from the moment meeting them. They also left my place spotless. Sandy and I would recommend them 1000%.

Perfect pet sitters
Gert and Valentina were the perfect pet sitters. They looked after and fell in love with Dinp our dog. The tortoises and the fish were fed and cleaned out as they should be. We would totally recommend Geerrt and Balentina to houses anyone who have a menagerie at home and with a large garden to look after they did us more than proud. We have already asked them to come back when they can.

Geert and Valentina are two of the most dedicated sitters we have found, and this says a lot about them. We have had some very, very good sitters! Geert and Valentina took a last minute emergency sit for us, and dealt with two handovers to previous and subsequent sitters on our behalf. We had a planned visit to the UK, for which we had scheduled sitters - but then, an emergency medical issue (open heart surgery!) required an extended hospital stay, and we could not return as planned. Geert and Valentina came to the rescue, allowing our scheduled sitters to leave on time. We had also scheduled sitters to come for a subsequent visit. This was for a trip which we had to cancel, but because we still cannot return home, the scheduled sitters are taking care of things as planned. Geert and Valentina made sure this hand-off went smoothly as well. We don't know what we'd have done without them, frankly. While watching Kevin, they made sure we were kept in the loop with videos of playtime and pictures of , and messages letting us know how things were getting on at the home front. We really appreciated this, because this was the longest we've been away from our girly-cat, and under very stressful circumstances. Kevin loved them both. This was obvious from the very first - she played happily, ate well (for a finicky princess), maintained her beautiful, shiny coat, and her diva attitude. If you need dedicated, professional sitters, don't hesitate to contact Geert and Valentina. They will do their utmost to make sure your sit goes perfectly and your pets receive top notch care. Top marks for these two!

Super friendly and reliable
Super friendly and reliable couple. It was a pleasure dealing with them from the start, especially as this was our first ever sit. They were responsive from the beginning, gave us great and daily updates on the dogs. We would thoroughly recommend them and our dogs definitely would as well! Wowwwwww!! We knew in advance that Geert and Valentina would be great catsitters because we had already read their awesome reviews……so I can now say that our experience was exactly the same and they totally warrant these wonderful reviews 😊 They were organised, with excellent communication and left our house absolutely spotless. We received so many photos, videos and updates that we were under no illusion that our cat was being fussed, adored and lovingly cared for. Reliable and tidy, responsable couple
Geert & Valentina took care of our 6 cats, 4 chickens and 2 hedgehogs in autumn. A lot of pets and in a period when the house also needs some TLC with regular sweeping off the leaves from the wooden terraces. They kept the house and terraces wonderfully clean. On top of that, there was a huge storm (Carian) and Geert texted us before the storm kicked in, asking if anything loose outside needed to be fixed. So thoughful and concsientious, very grateful for that! Nothing flew away, no damage, nothing missing. They gave us daily updates about our inhouse cats too. If you're looking for a reliable and tidy, responsable couple travelling the world, you're at the right address.

Kind and considerate
Valentina and Geert are just genuinely THE SWEETEST and wonderful cat- and house sitters. Leaving early in the morning with a baby is hectic, so they arranged to come into town a day early and get a hotel just so that they could come by in person and get a proper introduction to all the little querks in our apartment and to meet our sensitive cat Rüdiger. They are the absolute kindest, most considerate people and meeting them in person put our minds at ease knowing that Rüdiger would be in the best hands. And indeed: we received regular, lovely and funny updates of our sweet baby boy living his best life with the two of them. I would assume that Rüdiger is a bit more high maintenance than other cats and that our apartments has a few more querks than other places, but Rüdiger was happy and everything was super clean and in order upon our arrival. Even the plants looked great which is definetely not a given when being absent for 2 ½ weeks. We would welcome Valentina and Geert in a heartbeat and actually hope to meet them again sometime.

100% reliable
Geert and Valentina did the crazy thing and pet sitted for us in a freshly renovated but not jet completed apartment! We are very great full for that! Though there has been a problem with the oven which did not allow them to cook for some days, they stayed positive and helped us in our absence welcoming and communicating with the electrician at the apartment so that he can solve the problem. They were 100% reliable and did a very good Job with taking care of Nionios and Toulouse. When we came back, the cats behaved like we haven't been away for a month and they were in very good mood! Thanks to their regular updates we never lost touch and didn't miss the cats too much. We fully recommend them to the pet sitter community! Thank you guys 🙏

I had the pleasure of meeting Geert and Valentina before leaving, such a lovely couple. So caring and friendly. I felt very happy leaving Eeyore with them for two weeks. They sent us pictures and were great at keeping in contact. They left the place so clean and tidy and watered my plants for me while we were away. Would 100% recommend!

Perfect, Perfect, Perfect, Perfect and more than perfect! Geert and Valentina, the moment you meet them you feel like you have known them for years. My cat has only been with us as a stray since last November…so I was worried to be leaving her and how she’d be, well all I can say is she loved geert snd Valentina. I knew they would as they are a sensitive, animal loving couple, sincere and reliable. The home was so clean and tidy, and my cat was indoors waiting for us as they had left just a few hours earlier…..I think my cat is still looking for them, which proves how well she’s was cared for. Geert and Valentina had been awesome sitters for our dear Choffa. The communication was really clear since the beginning, and transparent. It was a great first experience.
