About this sitter

Andreas used to work at a bank and I (Alejandra) used to work as a lawyer. In 2019, we started our journey to explore the world and we have experienced incredible adventures.

We have helped and supported several volunteering projects. From a cacao farm to permaculture projects with medicinal plants, recycling organization, hostels or sailing yatchs, among other things, we have travelled around the globe, we have developed new skills and we have met incredible people who became our inspiration and good friends. We couldn't be more thankful for the opportunities that we have received over these years.

We are ready for a new chapter in our lives. We would like to find new places to visit, friendly people to meet and enjoy time with and wonderful animals to take care of. We are very easy-going and not afraid of challenges. We only ask for wifi (as we work remotely), a good kitchen (we love cooking and enjoy eating what we cook even more!), clean place (we take care of it as if it is ours) and public transport nearby for shopping or errands (although we both have driving licenses and we can drive. That is an option too if necessary).

Why they want to house sit

We like traveling deep into local life, not just passing through as tourists. Housesitting lets us settle into a home like locals for a bit, caring for the house and animals with the same love we'd give our own. It's the perfect way to combine our love for animals with our passion to authentic adventures, with a real connection to places.

Their experience

We have housesat in several countries with different kind of animals—mostly dogs and cats—and absolutely love every moment of it. We've even rescued stray pups along the way, giving them forever homes before heading off on our next adventure.

We're new to this platform (no references here yet), but happy to share personal ones from past owners—just ask! Your pets will be in genuinely caring hands.

What can they bring to the assignment

We have done several sits already—everything from gardening and small home fixes to looking after a B&B with animals. We get it, people want total peace of mind when they leave their home and their love ones.

We promise to love on the pets (sticking to their routines, meds, long walks), keep the place spotless (no parties!), send pics so nothing is missed, and we're super flexible and excited for every adventure.
