About this sitter

Hi, we're Becks & Musti, a Brit-Turk couple who work remotely, travel full-time and house & pet sit as part of our global adventures. We have completed 50+ sits, taken care of 150+ pets & enjoyed so many incredible experiences - it's a great way of life!

We like house sitting as we travel as it's a slower way of seeing different places, connecting with the locals, hanging out with furry friends and meeting interesting people across the globe.

We're highly adaptable, well-travelled, strong communicators and great with all animals. Becks works remotely and runs her own marketing consultancy part time from wherever we are based.

We're not fazed by much and are both very open and honest people which animals can always sense and respond well to. Between us we have worked in 15 different countries on 4 continents so are totally versatile in adapting to new cultures, surroundings and languages.

Why they want to house sit

We both grew up in the countryside with families that kept bees & a small farm. We love all animals but work has always taken us away from them other than for short spells of time. We've both spent the last 25 years working for commercial businesses so in 2021 we took the opportunity to start travelling again as pet and house sitters. It allows us to see new places as a local, experience new cultures and languages and be together full-time in our new adventure. Their experience

Very, we both had animals and birds as kids and lived in the mountains and on a farm respectively so good with the great outdoors!

In the last 4.5 years we've been to 25 countries through Western & Central Europe, the Balkans, West & South East Asia & North Africa. We have taken care of street dogs, old dogs, huge mountain dogs & young pups, plus lots of cats ranging from Humphrey the Boss, to Princess Pamuk & Lady Lolita, a house full of 7 Moroccan Tuxedos & more. We've also looked after giant tortoises, bearded dragons, chickens (& newborn chicks), cockatiels, canaries, conures & cockerels.

We've managed & maintained lots of big gardens in that time, including mowing, feeding, fertilising, weeding, watering, planting, paving and woodwork. We're also pretty capable with pools too.

When Musti was younger he looked after more than 200 bee hives every summer with his father, and also kept turkeys and ducks. Both of us have lived on, and looked after properties with big gardens and grounds, woods, orchards, ponds & swimming pools. We're good at general maintenance, have a practical attitude, lots of countryside skills and a can-do approach.
