Hello.
I’m a single woman who has done house sitting in the past with my husband in England, France and Ireland. Sadly he died a few years ago and I would like to repeat the experience as we found it both interesting and rewarding.

Why they want to house sit

It would be lovely to travel a bit more and be part of a community for a while rather than alone in a faceless hotel. To have a friendly pet companion would be the icing on the cake.

Their experience

As mentioned above, yes I do have house sitting experience and am well aware of needing to be primarily caring for any animals and also respectful of the owner’s property.

What can they bring to the assignment

Hopefully a sense of reassurance that both their pet(s) and property will be kindly and responsibly cared for.
Whilst I am happy to hire a car in Ireland, I don’t think I would be up for driving on the other side of the road in France etc. so any European sits would need to be in towns with public transport rather than in the countryside. I do speak French.
