Hey, I am Pauline !
I am a 24 year old french girl, I own a bachelor of psychology, and have been travelling part time between Asia and Europe for 3 years now!
I am an animal lover for as far as I remember, I always owned various pet while growing up ; dogs, cats, bunnies, fishes, birds, reptiles… On top of caring for other people’s pets, which was actually my first « job » ever.
I am a calm and sociable person.
I can’t wait to meet new people and care about new animals around the world!

Hey, I am Ilja !
I’m 23 years old and based in Hamburg, where I’ve been working as a real estate agent for the past four years. Real estate is my true passion, and because of my job, I see properties from a different perspective than most.
I deeply appreciate the care and heart that goes into maintaining a home, and I treat every space with the respect and organization it deserves.
My profession has also made me a very communicative and reliable person, though I’m naturally a rather calm and grounded guy.
When I’m not working, I love being outdoors, traveling, and exploring new cultures. I value spending time with my friends and my girlfriend, which often involves quite a bit of travel since we live far apart. Animals have always been a natural part of my life. I’ve had my cat since I was 15, and I grew up spending a lot of time on a farm and riding horses. I simply enjoy their company and have a lot of experience being around different animals in various settings.

We met one year ago while travelling the world, and have been together since. Two of our biggest interests are travelling and taking care of pets, which are not always super compatible, that’s why pet/house sitting is the perfect option for us two, and we can’t wait to have more opportunities to do it!

Why they want to house sit

We are planning on leaving our respective countries to travel full time by the end of april 2026, but we still want to settle down sometime and get to care about pets when it’s possible!

Ilja
I have a lot of experience with animals: I’ve owned a cat and a large aquarium for years, taking care of them daily. I also looked after two Bearded Dragons for a week, which included feeding and carefully monitoring the terrarium temperature. During my studies, I frequently cared for different types of dogs. I truly love surrounding myself with animals and know exactly how to meet their needs. Beyond that, I am a very structured and organized person who takes pride in keeping my surroundings clean and treating every home with the utmost respect.

I also have a lot of experience caring for pets, I owned many different ones (dogs, cats, bunnies, fishes, birds, reptiles…). I also got to do horse riding for more than 10 years.
I am a really caring person, especially when it’s about pets. Sadly I also got sick animals in the past (cats and bunnies), which needed special care and medication, so I am also experienced in this field. As well as caring for small abandonned kittens that needed feeding every hour…
Since I was young I got jobs like being a pet sitter, and sometime also needed to care for people’s home : I assisted elder people in daily life, cleaning the house, doing laundry and helping in various home tasks.

We are then prepared for many different options, and we will know how to adapt properly with your help and recommandations!

Since we both live in our own apartments back home, we know exactly what goes into running a household smoothly, from keeping things clean and organized to handling minor maintenance issues.

Between Ilja’s experience on farms and with horses, and Pauline’s history of caring for animals with special medical needs, nothing really phases us.
We are naturally calm and grounded people (a Real Estate Agent and a Psychology graduate!), so we handle responsibilities with a steady hand.
