We're Gia and Mike, a couple who discovered that caring for pets and homes together is one of our favorite ways to explore new places and connect with furry friends. Gia: I grew up surrounded by dogs and fell head-over-heels into cat-ladydom at 30 after rescuing three Siamese cats from a bush with my neighbor Mike (now my partner!). Over the past 8 years, we've turned our shared love of animals into wonderful housesitting adventures—from spending 2 months with three cats on the Big Island of Hawaii, to a cozy week with three dogs and a cat in Bend, Oregon, to taking our doggie niece Pepper on camping trips to Mt. Rainier.

Mike: Gia says my spirit animal is a dog, and she's probably right, I absolutely light up around them. I'm a Wag walker with years of pet care experience, including seven beautiful years with my rescued Pitbull, Ripley, who taught me everything about patience and unconditional love. I'm also the green thumb of our duo and genuinely enjoy caring for houseplants, tending gardens, and learning about permaculture.

What We're Looking For: We'd love to care for your home and pets while you're away, whether that's dogs, cats, or a menagerie of both. We're experienced, reliable, and treat every home and pet as if they were our own. Bonus points if there are plants that need some TLC!

House sitting has brought us some of our greatest joys over the past 8 years! As remote workers, it's given us the perfect way to explore new places while staying grounded and getting an authentic experience of local living for a period of time. We love the slower, more intentional pace of travel that house sitting offers, it allows us to truly experience a location, connect with the local community, and form meaningful bonds with the pets we care for.
