Hi! I’m Emma — a remote worker, lifelong animal lover, and someone who takes caring for a home as seriously as caring for the people (and pets!) in it. With years of experience house-sitting for my traveling parents and pet-sitting for friends and neighbors, I bring reliability, warmth, and a calm, capable presence to every stay. I am looking for a side-hustle that is something manageable I can do while working a remote job and completing part-time, online school.

I currently work a remote job, which gives me the flexibility and availability to house sit with care and consistency. My home base is in Washington, D.C., and I’m living at my parents’ home, where I’ve been their primary house sitter for over four years. They travel frequently—about five trips a year ranging from two weeks to two months—and have trusted me to manage the home in their absence.
Through this experience, I’ve learned how to properly run and maintain a household, including housekeeping, basic repair coordination, general upkeep, managing trash and mail, and monitoring utilities. I’ve also cared for their pets (a dog and a cat) during these trips, ensuring they stay safe, comfortable, and well?loved.
I bring a strong background in animal care as well. I grew up with a wide variety of animals—dogs, cats, birds, horses, and even lizards—and have years of experience pet?sitting for relatives, friends, and neighbors. I’m comfortable with animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments.
In addition to my hands?on experience, I have over six years of management experience, which has strengthened my reliability, communication, and ability to handle responsibilities independently. You can feel confident that your home will be well cared for while you’re away.

Six plus years of management experience and proof of reliability, leadership, attentiveness and a job well done. I can balance many tasks at hand and can do more than simply "look after" your home. I am a strong-suited handywomen and know how to do simple mechanical work, I am a stellar cleaner with 2 years of hotel-level housekeeping management experience and to top it off, I am excellent at looking after any and all animals with years of experience looking after dogs, cats, birds and even horses! I will ensure to leave any place I enter better than before.
