I am a long-time meditation teacher, nonprofit director, and writer who lives simply and quietly. I value calm, light, and time in nature, and I keep a steady daily rhythm.

I lived as a nun for 28 years. For 8 of those years, I served as the work nun on a 35-acre property with over 30 buildings, managing maintenance and overseeing a large workshop. I am practical, organized, and comfortable using tools. I can troubleshoot issues, handle unexpected situations calmly, and take initiative when needed.

I treat homes with deep respect and care. I genuinely enjoy tending gardens, caring for animals, and maintaining a peaceful environment. Plants and animals tend to thrive around me - I bring a steady presence.

I don't smoke, drink, or use recreational drugs. I live a very low-impact lifestyle.

I am looking for a peaceful home to care for - ideally near forest, ocean, trails, or a garden. Longer-term sits are especially welcome, as they allow me to settle in and offer consistent, attentive care.

I’m in a transitional housing period and see house sitting as a beautiful, mutual exchange. It allows me to live in environments aligned with nature while offering homeowners genuine care and steadiness while they are away.

What can they bring to the assignment

I bring reliability, maturity, and a calm, grounded presence. I genuinely enjoy tending plants and have a strong green thumb - gardens are a joy for me, not a task.

I love animals, and they tend to sense that. Most animals warm to me quickly and relax in my care. In one house sit, I intentionally created little daily adventures for Micky the dog - new walking routes, varied play, engaging exploration - and we both had a wonderful time. I don’t just “watch” animals; I love them as if we are family.

Cats- each one is so different - their temperament, their rhythms, what they enjoy. I pay attention and meet them where they are. We find our way together, and I have never been around a cat that I havent bonded with.
