Love pets would love to help yours have a great time while you're away

Hello !
My husband and I are avid pet lovers. Both of our daughters recently relocated to the Bay area, so we were looking to see if there was a way to help other pet families while also visiting our kids. We are very active - always looking for a good reason to take a hike or a work out- hopefully with a dog attached. My husband is still working part time and can work remotely, I am retired but have a part time job at Whole foods. We are both former journalists :)

Why they want to house sit

We'd love to help some other pet families out with their fur families. We are trying to find a way to visit with our kids on a regular basis, and while we can afford lodging we would love to be able to visit more often but also have things to do as they both are working, this seemed like a great way to check both those boxes.

Their experience

I am not an experienced pet sitter, but I am an experienced and loving pet person. I know what I would want from those watching my pets and that is what I would bring to any booking. I love my pets and I would offer nothing less for any pet sitting bookings.

What can they bring to the assignment

We are responsible, careful and very capable of handling any crisis. The family's pet/needs would always come first and we would always be available for any kind of contact that a family might need. I know first hand how much we can stress about making sure our pets are doing okay. Been there done that- so I am totally ready to send pictures or texts or discussions to make sure the fur kids are doing okay. But also happy to have a chat with anyone to make sure we might be a fit as I feel it's all about making sure the people are on the same page to take care of the pets. We do love them so :)
