About this sitter
Hello folks!
I have provided housesitting and pet sitting services for friends and family over the years. Since retired I petsit in my home and housesit wherever the opportunity takes me. It is my joy and pleasure to care for someone’s beloved pets and home as I would mine. I look forward to future opportunities. I am new on this site however have many additional references available on partner house sitting sites (TrustedHousesitters, housecarers, and HousesittersCanada). Why they want to house sit
I am retired after 38 years in an hospital setting. I have the freedom to explore new areas and care for homes and pets. I like the slow form of travelling - staying in one spot and letting the surroundings and people open up to me. Relaxing in the environment. I believe in the concept of helping each other based on mutual trust and respect.
Their experience
I am an animal lover having had horses, dogs, and cats over the years. My dogs have travelled with me in kayaks, motorcycles, cars, bicycles and of course many, many hikes. Having completed many sits I can honestly say I have enjoyed every single moment of caring and loving and playing with the my temporary wards! They are my joy.

Testimonial for Cathy Page
Cathy Page is by far the most exceptional pet sitter! She spent over 6 weeks looking after my 10 rescue cats. Cathy is caring, and truly loves looking after animals. She took the time to get to know each cat's personality and spent the time playing with them. I still have the aluminum foil balls she used for the "pre dinner soccer" ,as she called it , that kept many of them very entertained. She gave them lots of hugs and I had no worries while I was away. A wonderful touch for me were the daily videos and photos She used to send me. I now have more photos than I had before and plan to make a calendar with them. If Cathy is interested in coming to your house to look after your animals.... Take her....Do not even give it a second thought! You will not find a better sitter for your pets. As for looking after the house, Cathy was an exceptional guest . The house was clean and tidy, better than when I was there. She left me food supplies in the fridge and a lovely thank you card when she left. She even washed and made my bed so everything was perfect when I got back. And a great touch was the garden and my plants. She did weeding, better than my gardener I should add, and moved pots of plants into more shady areas to protect them from the hot sun. She also moved a sun umbrella from the pool area over my roses patch to give them some shade from the hot sun in August! Cathy is definitely my preferred pet- sitter and hope her schedule will permit coming back again to look after my cats when I am away. Pets are very lucky to have Cathy look after them! Thank you Cathy from Ginger, Penney, Tommie, Peggy, Kaliiopi , Aris, Loulou, Leo, Loua , and last but not definitely least, Bob. We miss you!

Wonderful Dog and Garden sitter
Cathy does a lot of pet sitting so you're going to be lucky to get her. She kept my dog happy, the house clean and the garden alive even during a heatwave. She's very easy going and pleasant to be around. I would recommend Cathy to anyone who's looking for a pet sitter.
