A thinker, designer, influencer, and wanderer. I enjoy the outdoors, gardening projects, animal care, quietude, and long walks. Love hiking and sunsets. I prefer long-term sits (more than 2 weeks), but sometimes a shorter sit works out too.

Nature, tranquility, and balance is where I thrive. But human connection and communication is a vital part of my existence. I love reading, writing, art, dancing, fitness, and being active in every way.

I grew up on a farm, so am familiar with caring for, birthing, and nurturing various kinds of animals. I am particularly fond of cats, all sorts, even the wild ones. I would consider house sitting that comes with various kinds of animals, although I am more inclined to cats, poultry, and smaller dogs, or one larger one.

Why they want to house sit

I love travelling. House sitting allows me to enjoy various places, spaces, and natural environs without having to commit to one. Housesitting also gives me direction and purpose when I travel, otherwise, I am just in hotels. In this way, I learn the terrain and towns of a country. On another note, I am a perpetual student of architecture and enjoy studying buildings of various era and location, within their vernacular.

Their experience

I am new to this site, though house-sitting and animal care is not new to me. I've done a few house sits and volunteer work on another site. Additionally, I've worked in the medical field for 12 years and in real estate for about 6. It provides me the knowledge and responsibility of looking after the possession and pets of others, and taking care of urgent situations. Due to my travel flexibility, I've been the resident house-sitter/ pet sitter of the family.
