About this sitter
We are a couple, Ray and Andrew. Nomads in life, travelling to see the world, connecting with people, sharing our knowledge and helping in any way we can. Volunteering as we travel, workaways and sittings. Outdoor nature loving. Hiking, the dogs will love the walks :) pet loving.
Why they want to house sit
We love being nomads, but living on the road with an animal friend is too much of a challenge. So once in a while it's wonderful to reconnect to the experience of living with an animal friend and taking a break from the road. We love being able to help and receive such a benefit in our travels to meet new people and discover new places.
The pet caring is an opportunity for us to make immediate and deep connections.

Our experience of more than 4 years since becoming full time nomads.
(Andrew) no previous ownership of animals due to travelling a lot. Cared for many family, friends pets and house sits. Worked with Cows, goats, chickens, turkeys, helped with horses. (Ray) past owner of a dog and cats. Previous housepet experience.

Extremely satisfied
We are extremely satisfied with Amdrew. We would highly recommend him ad a house sitter. Our animals were well looked after a d obviously had become very fond of this couple whilst we had been away. We asked for someone who could look after our garden and this has been done beautifully. We had a large crop of tomatoes and having eaten as many as they could they left us tomato pure in the freezer. Above and beyond the call of house sitting duties I think. I would highly recommend this couple and hope they might visit us again in the future.

Everything went very well
It was our first experience, and we were a little anxious, but everything went well. Andrew and Ray took great care of our cats. We found them fit, relaxed and even more well-behaved than when we left them! The house was tidy and they were good and available to manage the difficulties present in a beautiful but isolated place, with some lacking services. They were also flexible to meet our needs on the dates of the stay.

A great team
Andrew and Ray are a great team when it comes to house and pet sitting. It is obvious they love animals and my cats loved them back. I can describe them as reliable, adventurous, calm, flexible, resourceful, personable. They keep a clean house and can care for plants. I would welcome them to sit again in a heart beat. You can't go wrong with these sitters.

Self sufficient and loving

An absolute pleasure
It was an absolute pleasure to have Andrew & Ray sit Fiona and the house. Absolutely no complaints. This sit was exactly (and beyond) what I was hoping for. I was able to leave without having to worry, nothing happened while I was gone that gave me reason for pause, and we returned to a very content dog and super clean house. An excellent fit
Andrew and Ray were an excellent fit for our crew in Guatemala! They were self-sufficient in our somewhat rural area and able to problem solve. They gave wonderful attention to our two dogs and bull and always made sure they had the needed supplies for them. They were wonderful communicators and flexible when our schedule changed. Our friends who met them all had great experiences with them and noted their friendliness. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for sitters!

Snap these two up
I can’t even begin to explain how wonderful Andrew and Ray are. Right from initial contact they were friendly and enthusiastic which made us warm to them immediately. They asked great questions which made us feel they were really genuinely interested in how we look after our home and our dog and as a result we had absolutely no qualms in booking them to sit for us. They kindly came to meet us the day before the sit and it was obvious they had read our handbook thoroughly before we met. They were great with our dog, Maui, from the second they met him and were proactive in getting to know his quirks and preferences. We had a few lovely and thoughtful messages whilst we were away which ensured we knew everything was well at home, whilst also allowing us to completely switch off. We returned to a spotlessly clean house, a healthy and happy dog - an absolutely perfect housesit! Snap these two up if you can, they are truly wonderful human beings!

Andrew and Ray were fantastic
Andrew and Ray were fantastic! It was the first time leaving Betty the beagle so I was slightly worried but I had numerous updates and photos of her having walks and lots of cuddles. The cats were also in heaven with lots of attention. Andrew and Ray were extremely accommodating and understanding when we said we needed to come home two days earlier. The house was left immaculate and the garden had been looked after. I would highly recommend them to look after your house and pets. I will definitely keep in touch and book them again!

The perfect house sitters
Rae and Andrew were the perfect house sitters. They are brilliant with animals. We have two dogs and a cat and they were all so happy and well looked after. Doris the Vizsla can be nervous, it took no time for Rae and Andrew to gain her trust and they all had a lovely time together with lots of walks and fun. Doris medication was administered perfectly and comms between us were ideal for peace of mind. The house was looked after immaculately, if every house sitter could be like these two it would be amazing! Thank you Rae and Andrew!!
