About this sitter

We miss having pets, it is a pleasure to enjoy their company and walks.
Recently retired we appreciate a slower space and the importance of routine for pets.

Why they want to house sit

To spend time with animals and birds to relax, play with and make sure they feel safe and loved. Finally retired we have the flexibilityfor a break for the city, we love our city and neighbors, but it's good to get away and refresh.
The bonus is we can talk to the pets (and Tibha talks to plants) without them getting upset at our ramblings!

Their experience

My mother was the neighborhood nurse for birds, ducks, crows, cats, dogs, turtles and kept a fish pond. And i have happy memories of that young life. I had a dog but not anymore,
we have had Sona, a golden retriever as a house guest often, but she has passed too. Have cat sat for a friend. Recently we did a dog sit in upper NY.
Once upon a time we had a house and understand the responsibilites and maintenance.

What can they bring to the assignment

We will would communicate and send photos regularly
We are committed to leaving the home in the same (or better) condition than I found it.

Our interests are gardening, astronomy, reading, walks, community work andwrite most days. We used to own a home and have DIY handy skills and Gardening experience. We will keep your home clean, water plants, collect mail, take out trash and garden maintenance.
