A break with pets to enjoy their company and beautiful nature.
As healthy recently retired seniors we appreciate time in a slower manner and the opportunity to experience another region or area away from the busy city. And we can talk to the pets without them getting upset at our ramblings!

Why they want to house sit

It is perfect to counteract the busy crowded New York City life and the small apartment we live in. We love our city and neighbors and help when we can, but it would be good to get away.
Looking not to travel too far

Their experience

My mother had a zoo when I grew up, she looked after all the broken wings and bones. We had dogs, cats, crows who stayed even after they got better, ducks, fish pond. As an adult in the city I had a dog but not anymore. My wife too loves pets and we regularly looked after Sona, a golden retriever because they travelled a lot until she passed and have cat sat for a friend when they went on their honeymoon.

What can they bring to the assignment

Our maturity, quieter pace of life and obsession with cleanliness.
We like to cook but mostly it is simple or salads (can leave you frozen meals!).
Expect home owner to pay for electric, gas, water and wifi/cable.
