About this sitter

We are a happily married couple of over ten years who lead a clean, active, and health-focused lifestyle. I have a background in molecular and cellular biology, and my husband is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who runs his own coaching business; together, we bring a "science and health" level of care to everything we do. We are non-smokers and remote entrepreneurs, which allows us to be a consistent, calming presence for your pets throughout the day.

We are looking for sits where we can truly settle in and be responsible stewards of a home. Whether it’s a mountain retreat or a coastal escape, we’re looking for a peaceful environment where we can enjoy our love for cooking, music, and local culture while keeping your home and pets thriving.Because we’ve cared for so many different households, we’re used to jumping in and learning new routines quickly. We handle specific feeding schedules and long walks to keeping the plants happy and the mail organized. We treat every home with the same high standards we’d expect for our own, making sure everything is exactly (or even a little better!) than how you left it.

For us, house sitting is a natural extension of how we love to live. We’re an active, hands-on couple who genuinely enjoys the rhythm of a home.

On a more personal note, we’ve been devoted pet parents ourselves. Since our two beloved dogs passed away, we’ve really missed that daily companionship. House sitting gives us the chance to pour that love and 'pet parent' energy into your animals, whether it’s long morning walks, playtime, or just a calm presence in the house.

We also love traveling 'slow' and 'chill'. We can take our time exploring new cultures, finding local markets to cook a great meal, and enjoying a home with some good music in the background. It’s a practical and sustainable way for us to see the world while staying in a real home. It’s a true win-win: we get to explore new places and fill that 'dog-shaped hole' in our lives, and you get the peace of mind knowing your pets and home are in truly caring, experienced hands.

Absolutely. We’ve been the "go-to" house and pet sitters for our large extended family for years, but our experience goes much deeper than just checking in. We have raised a diverse family of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and even a corn snake.

We are particularly experienced with senior pets and medical care; we navigated several surgeries and an eventual leg amputation with our own senior pup, so we are very comfortable with physical therapy, medication schedules, and post-op recovery.

Beyond animals, I’m an experienced "plant parent" with over 30 houseplants of my own, so we’re well-versed in propagation, seed-starting, and keeping a garden healthy and green.
