We are experienced house, farm and pet sitters. Our passion for travel has taken us on many trail running, hiking, and varied holiday and motorcycle adventures (2Aussies 2Triumph 2Americas). Along the way we have made lasting friendships, and since retiring in 2025, we plan to travel abroad for 4-6 months every year and experience new people, places and pets.
David was a Chief Financial Officer and now enjoys his music, woodwork and electronics hobbies as well as running the trails and planning the next adventure.
Pam was a information management project manager and loves gardening, quilting, sewing, cooking and trying to learn piano and French.
We both love animals and have had dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, budgerigars and finches ourselves but unfortunately our lifestyle does not enable that anymore which is another reason we love to house and pet sit.
Apart from our own pets we have experience helping on family and friend’s farms. We helped David's brother for a couple of years to establish a Boar Goat Stud in NSW. This was a fun and physically demanding time and included feeding, administering meds, bringing kids and lambs into the world, caring for the show goats, working dogs, farm cats, sheep etc. as well as driving the tractor to cut the lucerne crop, storing the bales of hay/lucerne for sale.
We also regularly help our friends who run a large horse stud and cattle farm 1.5hrs outside of Melbourne which usually involves feeding horses and cattle and any other farm tasks that need doing.
We have family in Scotland, England and France. Looking forward to where the next house-sit takes us, discovering new people, places and pets.
We retired in 2025 and that has enabled us to travel more frequently and for longer periods of time. We have always had animals in our lives and it will be fun to still have them around as we enjoy more time overseas.

A love of animals and international travel, of meeting new people and building lasting friendships. Experience of caring for our own pets, working on farms and animal studs. The following is a reference from our friends who operate the horse stud/ cattle farm.
Pamela & David looked after Joanne’s pets & home
Pamela is a wonderful person. I have known her for over 10 years. We met at the College of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Pamela was an employee and I was engaged to provide management consulting services to the College. Pamela was held in professional high regard at the College. We worked together on several initiatives. Pamela was a stakeholder on a significant IT implementation, I project managed. As a stakeholder, Pamela contributed to project meetings, completed assigned project activities to the highest of standards and always met deadlines. Pamela was someone that I could rely upon and bounce ideas off. She took responsibility for her role. Being quite strategic in her thinking, she also made suggestions to improve project outcomes and identified risks and issues. In undertaking her role, Pamela always was kind, respectful, thoughtful and fun. After completing the assignment with the College, Pamela and I have remained friends. I live on a farm about 1.5 hrs. out of Melbourne. Pamela has helped feed horses, cattle and other animals. It is obvious from her interactions with the animals; she is an animal lover. They like her and she likes them. She also gets involved in various farm tasks. She embraces a different environment. I have no hesitation in recommending Pamela as a house sitter. The Pamela I know would look after someone else's house and pets like they are her own. She has high standards; your house and pets would be in the best of hands.
