Hello! My name is Chip and I recently retired from corporate life. My latest passion is experiencing new places while at the same time helping others with their home and pet sitting needs. I am an honest, caring, personable, and dependable individual currently living in southwest Florida USA (after moving from Pennsylvania a few years ago). I'm very active, so I'm looking for more than just watching someone's home. Having a pet to take care of and play with would be a fun and exciting way to spend time while watching your home!
I enjoy walking, hiking and just being outdoors so I can accommodate any pet’s exercise needs…from short walks to long treks. I also like to chill out in the evenings, so it will be great to have a furry friend to keep me company (and vice versa!).

Why they want to house sit

Growing up, we always had dogs in our home to enjoy. Soon after starting my own family, my wife and I adopted a dog from a shelter and we’ve been dog owners ever since. The joy they brought to us and our children was priceless. Unfortunately, our last pup passed away a couple years ago, so I am really missing the happiness and companionship that our furry friends bring us. My desire to travel and love of dogs makes house and pet sitting a perfect opportunity!

I've been around dogs my entire life and have loved every minute of it! I have also been a homeowner for over 35 years. I am an experienced home-watcher and rental property owner as well, so I have a ton of experience maintaining and taking care of homes. I will keep your home spotless and organized, and I will most certainly respect your home and personal property.

What can they bring to the assignment

I will provide your pet with the care, love, and attention that he/she deserves. I am also happy to provide you with regular updates and photos because I know what it feels like to be away from your pup(s). I will provide active play-time with your pup(s), as well as quiet and relaxing moments (or anything in between) depending on your pet’s needs.
I’m also willing to do common chores and yard work if needed. And I can fix many common household issues, should something arise while you're gone. You can be assured that your pet and home are in excellent hands, so you can relax and more thoroughly enjoy your time away.
