My name is Babeth, I am 55 years old and I am French. I am currently learning Spanish. I manage in English, but above all I adapt easily wherever I go.

I am available starting April 2nd.

I am looking for a house sitting opportunity for a minimum of 3 months (or 1 month and a half if that is not possible).
I work for myself and remotely.

I like traveling with my 11-year-old four-legged companion, Milo, my cat, whom I never part with. For the past 4 years I have been moving around France from house to house, and now I would like to do the same in Europe: Spain, Italy, England…

I travel from home to home to look after the place, take care of pets, and also help an elderly person if needed.

I looked after a Golden Retriever for 6 months and everything went very well, both with her and with my cat Milo.

I love nature, calm, simplicity and peaceful places.
And above all, I love animals because they are beings with whom we can have a very special connection ?

Why they want to house sit

I am looking for house sitting opportunities because I enjoy moving around, traveling, and meeting different people and different ways of life.

For now, I don’t want to settle down permanently. I simply want to enjoy what life offers me through house sitting and traveling…

Their experience

I took care of Charlie, a 9-year-old Golden Retriever, for 6 months.

I have always been around animals since I was a child. I grew up for 5 years on a "small farm" with pigs, sheep, a goat, roosters, hens, turkeys, ducks, geese, dogs, and cats.

In my previous job as a home care assistant (4 years ago), I was also always in contact with dogs. On that occasion, I lived with a Chihuahua for 6 months. He got along very well with my cat Milo. He was 5 years old at the time; now Milo is 11, and I adopted him when he was 4 months old.

What can they bring to the assignment

What I can bring to these house sits is complete trust for the owners regarding their home and also their "children" with fur or feathers…
By nature, I am calm, reassuring, patient, and very gentle with animals. I enjoy playing with them, cuddling them, and taking them for walks.

My top priority will always be to look after their home and their pets.
I have so much to give and share. I love this life that breaks the routine, and it is especially very rewarding for Milo and me.

If I am lucky enough to spend a few months in Europe, I am ready to get involved locally and to adapt to the language of the country.
