About this sitter

Hello, we are Tessa and Joe travelling with our two children, Ada (6) and Otis (4). As part of our slow family travels around the world, we are hoping to include house sits along the way.

We enjoy taking time to get to know the places we stay, and house sitting gives us the opportunity to experience everyday life more like locals while caring for a home and pets.

Our children are gentle with animals and are used to being respectful in other people’s homes. As a family we enjoy the sense of routine and care that comes with looking after a home while we travel. As we travel with young children, we also spend plenty of time enjoying quiet days at home, which suits the routines of pets and a home environment.

Why they want to house sit

We enjoy the responsibility of caring for a home and animals while travelling. House sitting allows us to experience places more naturally, while giving homeowners peace of mind that their home and pets are well looked after.

Although we are new to formal house sitting, we have experience caring for cats and dogs and are comfortable looking after animals and maintaining a home.
