Why they want to house sit

House sitting allows us to be a blessing, skillfully and compassionately caring for a homeowner’s home so they can travel “worry free,” while allowing us the ability to see and experience new places.

After using a majority of our professional lives serving others (volunteering, catering, caregiving, mentoring), house sitting is a way to still “help” someone while enjoying new experiences.

Their experience

While new to “MindMyHome” site, we are experienced in housesitting, most recently having returned from a month in Berlin, Germany.

Previous locations include the East Coast of the U.S. and the West Coast.

What can they bring to the assignment

We bring peace of mind to the owner of wherever we stay.
Being former home owners and business owners, we are organized and careful to take exceptional care of any home we occupy. We have extended our previous home to “house sitters” in the past, so we understand both sides of the equation. Myron LOVES to garden and care for plants, and Karen loves to clean and keep things tidy and organized. In addition to being kind and caring people, our values dictate that we treat others’ property well.

It should be noted that we generally seek assignments that do not require pet or animal care.
