Nomadic Artist/educator looking for house and pet sitting

About this sitter

I am a Dutch/Iranian artist and very flexible in my schedule.
Although formally I have been living in the Netherlands since 1989, I travelled around Europe, Latin America, and North Africa for work.

Since the pandemic, I have been travelling around Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and South East Asia on my bicycle.
What started as a solution to the pandemic became a nomadic lifestyle I identify with today.

Why they want to house sit

I have been living outdoors for over 6 years and have moved around almost every day.
Being in a place for a while and caring for a pet, garden, and house is helpful to me.
I respect all kinds of life, whether it is an animal or a plant.

Recently, I started to write, trying to reflect on my nomadic life, learn from and understand where life wants to take me next.

Their experience

I often shared the responsibility to take care of my friends' pets and their home but never had my own pet.
Most of the times my friends told me their cat/dog hardly went to a stranger when they approached me.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am hardworking, self-directed, calm, and quiet, and I prefer to observe than talk.
Through my creative work, I learned to handle most of the power tools.
A vegetarian who doesn't smoke, drink, and party.
Though I love people and appreciate one to one conversations about meaningful subjects.

When the responsibility of a house or pet is given to me, I take care of it better than my own with honesty, respect, and reliability.
