About this sitter
We are retired professionals- executive recruiter and teacher- wanting to spend 3-4 weeks in the Almont, Gunnison or Crested Butte area this summer to escape the Dallas heat.
We love the outdoor life and slower pace of a mountain town. The festivals- music, art, flowers as well as volunteering in these events.
Why they want to house sit
Housesitting gives us an opportunity to experience a more "local like" lifestyle in a wide variety of locales.
It is more private and comfortable than hotels.
Their experience
We did a "sit" in Almont last summer. What a joy! Even had a bear drop by for breakfast on morning!
What can they bring to the assignment
We are tidy, great with pets and/or plants and very respectful of your property.
As homeowners ourselves we know how to maintain and manage a house.
We enjoy meeting new people and look to become involved in the community.
