About this sitter

International Cat Lady. I'm a senior artist and writer who loves cats and dogs, but I have more experience taking care of cats (and one parrot). I've taken care of a number of cats belonging friends and acquaintances over the years and I am now wanting to combine this experience with my love of travel. My other interests and hobbies include reading, hiking in nature, cooking, listening to live music, going to art galleries, tai chi and swimming. I speak English and French (intermediate).

Why they want to house sit

I would like to travel, both within Canada and elsewhere, and I would like to have an affordable home base and the comfort of feline companionship while doing so.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am a concientous, responsiblle, dependable and detail-oriented person. I respect the homes and pets I am given the responsibility to care for while their owners are away. I understand the concern they have leaving their most valued companions in the care of strangers. I like to send daily updates to my hosts by text or email. I am exceptionally clean and neat and I am known to leave my hosts' homes cleaner than they left them!
