About this sitter

I was an international flight attendant for 26 years and I am very comfortable in foreign countries. In addition, my husband and I have traveled to dozens of countries over the years. After retiring from the airlines, I joined my husband in property management and obtaining my real estate license. We managed very high end homes in the ski resort we lived in with weekly inspections and concierge services. We also owned and rented 2 Airbnb properties. We also own our home with all the upkeep needed to keep it in top shape. So, I guess I can honestly say I will keep a well-trained eye on your home so you can feel assured it is being looked after while you are away!
I grew up with dogs and my husband and I have raised 3 Labrador Retrievers over the years. We currently have a yellow lab, Roger, that we rescued 4 years ago. We dog sit for some of our friends when they leave town and are comfortable watching and caring for their pets. We love having dogs around! So, you can rest assured I am capable watching over your “kids.”

Why they want to house sit

I guess you could say I am a cliche! Retiring and building bird houses is really not my thing! I like to stay active and engaged with people, and I believe traveling and house-sitting would be a good fit for me. My background fits very well with looking after homes and I enjoy meeting new people from all parts of the world.
When we leave town we want to make sure our dog is in a safe and happy environment for him. I know that feeling of leaving a pet behind as we travel, and I would like to make sure pet owners feel safe leaving their pet with me. That way you can enjoy your travels and vacation!

Their experience

This is my first foray into house-sitting and I truly believe I am well-suited to look after homes. My experience with property management and real estate would serve me well and I feel home-owners can feel assured that their home is safe with me. And having and caring for dogs my whole life I believe I am well suited to care for your pet.

Experience, trust, humor (which sometimes you need in certain situations!) , thinking outside the box to accomplish perhaps difficult tasks, resourcefulness, empathy, kindness, having an open mind, and a touch of curiosity.
