I am an animal & travel lover who is looking to explore the world while providing the best tlc to your home and pet(s). I seek to create meaningful connections wherever I travel, through providing love and care to other people's homes and pets.

Why they want to house sit

I feel like I mostly summed that up above, but I can attempt to elaborate a little more. I have always wanted to travel and explore the world. As a single parent, I was not able to do that so much. I am now in between careers and life chapters and am beginning the next chapter spending more time engaging with the things I love....travel, animals, art, reading, peaceful moments, good music, cooking delicious food, taking in new cultures and wonderful people are all at the top of the list.

Their experience

I am. Over the last 12 yrs, I have provided pet sitting services to friends and family as well as a couple of other people locally (to me). I have also always had pets until now. I have reasonable understanding of animal behavior, the basics of wound care and am comfortable with administering most medications. I am also comfortable with most other aspects of care- grooming, feeding, housekeeping, etc. I prefer not to care for snakes- I respect all creatures, but I have met some sneaky houdini snakes and I'm not up for that kind of experience. This is my first time using an online platform for services, as I am newly expanding my services beyond my local area. References available upon request.

What can they bring to the assignment

I can and will bring respect for you, your home, and pets first and foremost. I will bring compassion, lots of TLC, and patience. Beyond that, I bring whatever your pets need. Whether they need energy and playfulness or a good belly rub and a snuggle, I've got you covered. I love to bond with the animals I care for. It generally makes my life and theirs much nicer. Your animals will know that they are well loved and cared for when they are with me. It is my mission to make it so. I will respect and follow the food (and other) choices you make for your own pets- the only exception would be if there are clear signs of abuse, but so far that has never been an issue for me. I strive to have my clients return to happy pets and a peaceful, clean home after they've been away. I've even been known to make my clients a welcome home dinner or sweet treat if time allows. *Cooking for my clients is an extra and is not guaranteed.
