About this sitter

I am nearing retirement and want to do much more travelling. I have done quite a lot over the years but I have so much more that I want to do. I travel solo. I love dogs. I like feeling at home rather than being in a hotel room. I have spent 40 years as a community economic development professional so I am very passionate about community building and place making. I like to be able to go outside, explore the neighborhood, and to learn about the people and their cultures. I am clean and a neat freak.

Why they want to house sit

So that I can truly experience how others live within their cultures and economies.

I have never registered as a sitter before but I have certainly looked after friends and family homes and pets.

What can they bring to the assignment

Someone who genuinely loves life, cares for others, and appreciates that what you have worked so hard for in your life is precious and therefore would take care of your loved pet/s and home like I would my own.
