About this sitter
I am a researcher working remotely who tries to do some art too (crochet, drawing, pottery). I also love spending time in nature. I am also a huge cat fan :D
Why they want to house sit
I love to travel and like to experience different places in a more authentic and meaningful way than typical travel. House sitting allows me to live like a local while also being helpful to homeowner. And of course, if I can spend time with cats at the same time, it makes it even more enjoyable!
Their experience
Yes, I have experience in taking care of pets at someone's home. I have done so through Facebook (for cats and a bunny), and also through my friends. These experiences have always been awesome! I also have lived for many years with cats and understand them well.
What can they bring to the assignment
I am reliable and very respectful of someone's places, I have consistently received positive reviews on accommodation platforms. I work remotely so would be home to keep company to your pets most of the time. I genuinely love cats and they seem to love me too, their well being is my priority and in all my sits the cats seem super happy!
You can expect regular check-in and cute pictures of your pets, and to find your house as you left it!

Wonderful!
Johanne came first 19 days to care for our two elderly cats. She is a delightful young woman and an excellent, experienced cat lover and we would unconditionally recommend her to anyone who loves their cats and a clean, tidy house. She (and her lovely mum) even stripped the beds and left the clean, washed bedding on the clothes line for our return. The cats were calm and settled and we were kept informed about them with messages and photos. Thanks Johanne and we hope to see you again soon.

Excellent house sitter who loves cats!
Johanne came to look after our cat, George, and took over while we were away. She calmly and capably took over from our previous sitters, and soon made a friend of George. She looked after our house, and our pot plants, and managed perfectly well in our absence. The house was just as we had left it, clean and tidy. She was responsible and completely trustworthy. We would be happy to have her again!
