Animals have always been part of my life. I grew up with dogs and cats, and from a young age I was also drawn to being around animals—riding horses and spending time on my uncle’s farm, where I helped care for baby calves. Over time, that comfort has extended to all kinds of animals, and I feel very at ease with them. I find them grounding, intuitive, and deeply connected, and I value the unconditional love they bring. I approach each animal with patience, respect, and kindness, and I’ve found they respond naturally to a calm, steady presence. I take care to keep their routines consistent so they feel safe and settled while their owners are away.

I’m clean, reliable, and respectful, and I treat every home with care. I tend to live in a simple, grounded way—spending time outdoors, staying active, and maintaining a peaceful environment—which allows me to be fully present in the role of a house sitter.

I recently retired from my work in the airline industry, which has given me the flexibility to travel and spend time in different places and cultures around the world in a more intentional and grounded way. House sitting feels like a natural extension of that, allowing me to experience new environments while also offering something meaningful in return.

I’ve always felt a strong connection to animals and believe they thrive with consistency, care, and genuine attention. For me, house sitting is not simply about being in a new place—it’s about showing up with presence, caring for animals so they feel safe and comfortable, and maintaining a home in a way that is respectful and steady.

Through my background in yoga and mindfulness, I tend to bring a calm, attentive energy into the spaces I’m in, and I’ve found that animals respond naturally to that. I truly value the opportunity to spend time with them, to connect, and to care for them in a way that supports their well-being while their owners are away.

Yes, I have a lifelong experience caring for animals. I grew up with dogs, cats, and smaller animals like gerbils and rabbits, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. I genuinely enjoy giving them attention and affection, and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for.

I’ve also spent time living on horse farms, where I helped care for horses while owners were away, and from a young age I was trusted with caring for baby calves on my uncle’s farm. In addition, I’ve supported my daughter in her dog walking work, helping care for and manage multiple dogs.
I’m very comfortable with animals of all kinds and attentive to their routines, but just as important to me is that they feel loved, safe, and at ease while their owners are away.

I bring a calm, mindful, and adaptable presence to each house sit. Having traveled extensively and spent time in many different environments, I’m very comfortable stepping into new spaces and adapting naturally to what’s needed.
